I am way too excited about an upcoming chapter so I'm posting this now so that I can hopefully post it tomorrow. Enjoy and let me know what you think. Hopefully some dots have been connected for you. And I officially have 20 more chapters to go for this story! (As long as the chapters are written without the boys or Sang getting too chatty.)

**| Sang's POV |**

I took in all the boys in the room. The Toma team, whatever team meant in this case, I wasn't sure, were looking at me with curiosity while everyone else was glaring at Yevgeny and a couple of them looked hurt.

Why? Gabriel actually looked like I betrayed him in some way. I just didn't understand how.

I looked at Yevgeny then at North.

"Ah, West! Good to know you again," Yevgeny said with a big grin and mischief on his face.

"See you again," the man with two different eye colors mumbled. Yevgeny just shrugged, his arm over my shoulder.

North glowered. "How the fuck do you know Sang baby."

"Sang baby?" Yevgeny raised an eyebrow and looked at me. "Is Molodoy Pavlin Sang baby?"

He frowned down at me. I blushed and nodded. His frown deepened before he looked up at North with narrowed eyes. "Sang is no baby."

"Says the one calling her a baby peacock," North snapped.

"I call her pea-chick."

"It's the same thing."

Yevgeny stepped away from me, his eyes traveling over my body. I shifted at the attention he was giving me. "Maybe I should call you Pavlin now. You are no longer molodoy."

North growled and went to move forward but Silas stepped forward and stopped his advancement. I stared wide-eyed at the two of them, speechless and unsure of what to do. Why did they dislike each other so much?

"Miss Sorenson, how do you know Raven?"

"Raven?" I was so confused right now. "I don't know a Raven."

"Me, Pavlin, I go by Raven now."

"Oh." I nodded. Made sense. "I met him in Greece." I smiled at him. I couldn't help it. "He's the one who gave me my tattoo."

"You fucking let him touch you?" North bellowed and I cringed at his voice. He was furious, his expression dark.

Raven stepped in front of me, his eyes hard and I saw murder in them. When I first met him, I thought he was only kidding when he told me he was a professional Russian. But now I had to wonder what in his past qualified him as a professional Russian.

"Yev—" I cleared my throat. "I mean Raven. Raven, he's fine. North would never hurt me."

"Not risking it," he said in a scarily soft voice. I could feel the tension in his body. He was preparing for an attack.

"Yevgeny!" I snapped, my fear pushing me to speak up. I couldn't let him hurt my North Star. Raven winced and turned to me. "North Star would never hurt me. I get that you are protective but you have no right. We are not in Russia. You don't get to go by their rules here."

He jaw clenched but he nodded and allowed for the really tall one with long black hair to pull him back. Mr. Blackbourne stepped forward, slightly ahead of me but off to the side so I could still see everyone.

"Well put, Miss. Sorenson. Shall we do introductions and begin with the meeting?"

North grumbled something and leaned against the wall, glaring at Raven. Raven plastered a smirk onto his face and found a spot on the other side so he could taunt North.
