Edward's POV:
I don't know how long I've been running. I don't even know where I'm running to. All I know right now is 'I have to get away.' My lungs and muscles were burning from the strain of running this long. My pursuers were still quite a bit behind but I was slowing down.
A minute later I could hear their voices.
Another minute, something whizzed by my head. It was- A TRANSMUTED STONE?! But the only alchemist in this group was 'ALPHONSE!' it hurt that my own brother was trying to throw me in jail, but I had no time to mourn. They were closing in and I could practically feel them glaring at my back.
'I have to get away,' thats all I could think. Then I saw the forest that was just outside the city. I ran towards the forest hoping I could lose them there. I felt my strength draining with every step. With the last of my strength I forced myself to run forward. And just as I took my last step with my remaining strength, everything went black.
A/N: I'll try to update this as fast as I can, but I can't guarantee anything. This story will continuously be changing, because well, I'm indecisive. Again this is my first story so any feedback would be nice. 'Til the next chapter! Bye!
