Yet so vulnerable

Nadine's POV

"Listen here, Mr. Reid" I said and kept on stepping forward while him backward until his back hit the wall

What is he trying to pull?! That I'm weak? This guy knows nothing about me.

"I'm not like just any other girl you've EVER met in your entire life. I'm not weak. I'm not afraid. And I. Am. Not. A. Flirt. Don't even think about messing with me. I'm not a girl you'll wanna mess with. Don't even try anything silly or else" I  threatened him

And he just smiled

Like, who the hell does that?!

He always jokes. He always thinks that everything goes his way. Masyado syang pacute!

"What the hell are you smiling about, Reid?" I asked seriously and in confusion

Ugh! He annoys me

"Nothing, Madame" He said

"Good." I said and turned my back at him

But then,  He grabbed my hand forcing me to face him

I look in his eyes. He looks into mine. His eyes were twinkling. His eyes, oh so beautifully brown and perfect. Dreamy. Beautiful I thought.

He hold me by the small of my back

He winked at me

I roll my eyes

He leans in closer

Then....

I put my index finger on his lips

"Don't dare" I muttered, sounding as if she was almost breathless

Not exactly how I wanted to sound

Oh God what is he gonna do?! I just met him! It's freaking me out!

"Oh, I dare" He whispered, grinned playfully and winked

I gulped

"Don't even try to do anything silly, Reid" I warned

Then....

"Lustre, be ready" he said playfully

"For what, Reid?" I said sarcastically

"You know what"

"Puh-lease. I'm not afraid of petty little acts." I rolled my eyes

He wiggled his eyebrows

"Ugh! Grow up, Reid! Ew!" I said sounding like I was disgusted

I pushed myself away from him

Hooh God that was close!

"See you tomorrow, Lustre!" James shouted as I headed for the door with Barbz trailing behind me

I just ignore and go straight for my car. I sit at the driver's seat and Barbz sit shotgun.

"So, you think you'll finally make friends?" Barbie asked and smiled as I smiled

"I..." I started and maybe slightly hesitated

"I'll think about it" I said and plastered a smile on my face

James' POV

"See you tomorrow, Lustre!" I shouted as Nadine headed for the door with Barbie on trail

She just ignored

Huh, snob...

"Hey, James. I know that look." Ate Ca said

"What look?" I said with a confused expression on my face, still smiling

"I know that smile." She said

I just keep on smiling

"You like her, don't you?" Ate Ca asked

"I don't know... Maybe?"

"Sus, Hayme. Maang maangan ka pa. Kilala kita, nuh. Nanay mo na ako. Pero, Hayme, makinig ka saakin. If she'll be the one that will finally make you happy again, then go get her. Make her yours. And hold her dearly. I'm always happy when you're happy. And I know your mother would've been as well." Ate Ca said sincerely

Tears started dripping from my eyes and I envelope ate Ca in a hug

"Thank you so much, ate Ca... For everything" I said whilst hugging her

She pulls away and wipes my tears

"You aren't different to me, James. As I said, you are already like my very own flesh and blood" ate Ca said

"Don't worry, ate Ca. I will go get her" I said finally smiling again

"Atta boy!"
