(All stage lights brighten to reveal a Hallway. JACK, ALEX, ZACK, and RIAN are standing in it.)
Jack: Hey guys, guess who got a new date for prom.
Rian: How many is that now, eight?
Jack: Of course not, it's ten.
Zack: Ten! Do you have a death wish?!
Jack: Nope, I just want to see how many I can get.
Alex : Jack, how don't you get slapped or kicked on a regular basis?
Jack: I'm just a work of art.
(A BULLY walks up to ALEX, RIAN, ZACK, and JACK)
Bully: Emo filth.
(The BULLY walks away laughing)
Alex: You have got to be kidding me.
(A GEEK walks up to ALEX)
Geek: I don't mean to bother you, but did he pick on you?
Alex: He called us "Emo filth".
Geek: I thought so.
(The GEEK hands ALEX a paper with an address on it.)
Geek: The Kids in the Dark welcome you to join them at seven to escape. Make sure you wear a white shirt.
Alex: Wait who are " The Kids in the Dark" ?
Geek: You'll see when you get there.
(The GEEK walks away.)
Jack: That was weird.
Alex: Tell me about it.
