Time has passed from Summer to Winter. I still remember the day Chase died like it was yesterday. It's night and I'm sleeping huddled next to Syd. I can hear whispers. At first I assume that it's just Jim or Jack sleep talking unconsciencly, but the words are definate, and I can tell they're both awake.
¨We've got to get RID of her. She's USELESS. We only took her in for pity. I say we throw her out tomorrow.¨
I'm so angry I don't get up. I clench my ears over my head, tears in my eyes, the anger eating away at my heart.
