Chapter 13

Kashan's POV.
"Where are you going?" I was getting ready to go to see Manahil when my mom's voice interrupted me.

I look up her and again bend down to tie my laces. I was getting impatient to see her. After last night I spend all these hours on wait to see her.

"I'm asking something Kashan.!" Mom's voice again snapped me out from my thinking.

"Huh! Mom I'm going to library." I said ad got up to look at myself I mirror.

"Library.? But it looks like you are hung on a date.!" Mom said ad my hands stopped in the air which were combing my hair.

Date..? Is this a date?

But me and Manahil are just friend nothing more. No its not a date.

"Mom I'm getting late." I said and took steps to go out of my room.

"You know winter vocation is about to start soon. So you have to spend all your days with Haaniyah." Mom said and I turned to her.

"Mom why again Haaniyah?" I asked frustrated.

Yesterday night what happened was enough for ne. I mean I was running blindingly behind her and she doesn't care. The way she throw my bangles was hurting me.

"What does that mean? Don't forget you have to snatch Haaniyah from Haider. Don't let them come closer. I can't forget the insult Haider's mother did to me." Mom.growled and I just walk out if the house with so bad mood.

I was so happy in a good mood and now it was just spoiled and thanks to mom who did it. Now I didn't want to go to see Manahil. Somewhere mom was right. I thought and directly went to the library without picking Manahil with me. I was feeling bad. I was standing outside the library looking at the board bit didn't step on. I sighed and turn to go. But stop when I saw a familiar face standing right behind me.

"Missing me?" She asked and took a step closer to stand a step far from me.

"Manahil!" A whispered makes her smile.

"I thought you forgot to pick me so I came by myself." She said while her eyes were examining me.

"You are looking handsome." She said while stepping toward the library and I was standing there like a dumb with my mouth open.

She can say this and i ?? I'm standing like a dumb who even didn't greeted her and didn't tell her that she was looking so beautiful in her pink frock.

"Are you coming?" She turned and ask waking ne up from my dumbness.

"I'm." I said and followed her.

We stepped in the library and she start checking the books.
But my eyes were on her all the time.

"You like romance?" Her sudden question make me come back from my gazing.

"Huh! I...I don't know." I said and she passed a novel to me.

"Read this. You'll love this." I hold the book she gave me.

"But I..!" I tried to say.

"Read this." She said while pointing toward the book I was holding.

"Come. Let's have some ice cream." She said and we both step out of the library.

Silence and silence. No words were coming out of my mouth. I was just looking at her who was walking with me and my those red bangles were still in her arms.

"Strawberry ice cream please." She ordered and I saw two strawberry ice creams in front of us.

"But I like vanilla flavour." I said as I picked my ice cream and pay the bill.
