Olivia spent her day at work with the blinds shut and her office door locked. She kept herself busy with rape kits, open case files, and analyzing psychological patterns. Every now and then she would choke at the thought of the baby growing inside of her, and the fact that it wasn't Ed's.
When the clock hit 7:30, Olivia grabbed her bag and headed for the door.
"Hey, Liv, you good?" shouted Finn from across the precinct.
Olivia kept walking, and without even turning around said, "Never been better."
When Olivia got home, she dropped her keys and bag on the doormat. She went straight to the bathroom where she looked into the mirror, threw her hair up into a bun, and splashed water on her face. She stood there for a moment, letting the water run down her cheeks, until she grabbed a towel and dried it off. She made her way to the wine rack and grabbed a bottle.
"You're pregnant, Olivia." she said as forced herself to put the bottle down.
She walked halfway across the room, and then turned back around to face the bottle.
"What harm could one night do?" she said as she walked toward it again.
Olivia stopped, "What the hell is wrong with you?" she said to herself as she plopped down onto the couch, buried her face in her hands, and started to cry.
There was a loud nock on the door followed by Tucker's voice, "Hey, Liv, I've got dinner."
Olivia jumped up and wiped her face, "Shit." she said as she glanced at her reflection on the TV screen.
Her mascara was running and she was a wreck. She knew she was going to have to tell to him.
