Disowned by her fellow diamond sisters, she was thrown away, called a mistake. Though sad, Hope knew that they spoke the truth, after all...she is cursed. Blue Hope Diamond was said to bring bad luck and misfortune to whomever she was acquainted with. After the fall of Pink Diamond, they knew that she was to blame, so they sent out multiple quartz to kill her, though they were unsuccessful. Hope had escaped on a ship that crashed just as it arrived on the planet, Earth. Hiding in the broken down space ship, she was able to avoid the corruption, though did not escape unfazed. The corruption sent by her sisters altered her mind, leaving her memory gone. She was found in the ship by a crew member who had seemed to avoid the corruption as well, her name, Jet. Though Hope had no idea of her true identity or the diamonds, Jet did and vowed to be at her side always and protect her. All Hope remembered was the curse that shall haunt her forever more.
