15 Shades of Grey

Chapter 10

As I make my way to the office, hindi ko pa rin makalimutan ang lahat ng nangyari kagabi. Okay! Enough na muna 'tong mga kalandian ko sa life.

I need to focus on helping Grey. He needs my help—BADLY!

Idi-discuss ko ulet kay sir Holden ang problem at ang tulong na hinihingi ni Grey sa kanya kagabi. Tama, that's what I'll do. Tatanungin ko na rin siya kung naka-set nab a siya ng interview sa TV station.

I knock on the door of sir Holden's office.

KNOCK KNOCK

"Pasok..." sabi ni sir.

I enter the office.

"Umm, good morning sir." I greeted him.

"Oh, ikaw pala Sanders." Sabi naman ni sir.

"Um, sir..." I say doubtfully.

"Ano 'yon? If this is about Grey, don't worry dahil kinausap na niya ako kagabi pa. I've already set an interview with Channel 8." Sabi niya.

"Alam ko sir, kase I was with him kagabi. Actually, it was my idea." Sabi ko.

"Really?!? Well, that's quite a shocker. You must really like Grey to help him ng ganito." Sabi ni sir.

"Huh?" na-dumbfound ako.

I don't know how to react sa sinabi ni sir... Pero I think naman na he is right. We continue the discussion.

"Anyways sir, hihingi lang ako ng permiso para sumulat ng isang article." I say.

"Anong article?" sabi ni sir.

"Article about sa kay Grey at sa statements ni Mia." Sabi ko.

I look at sir Holden staright into the eyes.

"Hm? Alam nab a ito ni Mr. Philipps?" tanong ni sir.

And then I told sir everything that happened last night—EVERYTHING... Well, maliban na lang dun sa nangyari sa parking lot. Alangan naman isama ko pa 'yon! Eh, malishoso pa naman 'tong si sir Holden.

After I explained everything sa kay sir, pumayag naman siya.

"Kung ganun, we can get a scoop on that. After all, it'll be published anonymously sabi mo nga." Sabi ni sir.

"Opo sir." Sagot ko.

"Well then, start working on it now! We have two more days bago ang interview and if you want na mag-work ang plano mo eh you have to start working on it ngayon din." Sabi ni sir.

"Umm, sige po sir!" sagot ko.

Nakakatuwang isipin na pati si sir Holden eh nag-aalala rin naman pala kay Grey. And with that inspiration, I turned my laptop on and started gumawa ng article:

"The Grey Philipps-Mia Rodriguez issue is a hot topic as of the moment. It's been a while since we had a big story like this. However, there is not one bit of truth in the words exposed by Ms. Rodriguez..." And so sinimulan ko nang isinulat ang katotohanan.

Wala na akong ibang ginawa buong morning kundi ang isulat ang article. Thank goodness. Sa ganitong paraan, we'll be able to solve the misunderstandings...

After what seemed as an entire two centuries ng pagta-type ko ng article sa laptop ko eh sa wakas natapos ko na rin ang article! Bonggabells! I look at my watch—12:25pm na. I save my work muna before I grabbed my things at lumabas para mag-lunch break.

Nang makabalik na ako sa office, biglang nag-text sa'ken si Grey. Whoa, it must be something important. I open his message and read it:

"Your Editor-in-Chief is here sa hotel with me. Discussing the interview at the moment. Grey."
