Chapter 3

I walked to Emma's room as fast as I could, wanting to tell her about everything that just happened. Well maybe not everything, I don't know if I want to tell her about how Millard ruined the kiss. Once I got to her door it swung open and I was grabbed by someone and yanked into the room. Emma let go of my collar and she smiled at me, not an innocent one but an evil one.

"So how does Enoch lips taste?" I didn't need a mirror to tell my face was redder than Weasley hair (XD sorry had to). I also didn't need one to see how dumb I looked with my mouth wide open.

"H-how did you-"

"Millard told me."

'Millard told her? Who else did he tell? Oh I hope Miss Peregrine doesn't find out!'

"Don't worry he only told me. By the way you still haven't answered my question, does his lips taste good?" I rolled my eyes and nodded. She squealed, "so are you two 'a thing' or something?" I nodded again, she looked at me with the largest smile I've ever seen in my life.

"Lunch is ready!" Came a voice from down stairs.

"Come on let's go before the seat next to your boyfriend is stolen!" Emma grabbed my hand and pulled me down the stairs.

We talked a little but mainly remained quiet as we ate our sandwiches. After we were done Emma walked over to Enoch.

"So" she whispered so only Enoch and I could here, "do you mind if I steal your girlfriend until dinner Enoch?" His faced turned red as he looked at me.

"Don't worry she won't tell anyone." I gave him a thumbs up. He smiled for a second and nodded.

"As long as you give her back later tonight." He joked.

Emma took my hand again and led me outside.

"I've never seen him so happy before!" She squealed. Emma led me to a cliff, we sat down and let our legs dangle off the edge. "Soooo... how long was it?"

"How long was- oh the kiss it wasn't too long maybe five seconds or more. It was a pretty simple kiss, no French kissing or anything like that."
"Yet." Emma snickered playfully. We sat there for a couple hours just talking about mainly about Enoch but some about the other kids in the house. Before we knew it it was dark and time for dinner. When we got back Dinner was already set and there were two spots next to Enoch open. We took our seats and dug into the delicious food.

"So what did you two do all afternoon?" Enoch asked. I looked up at his chocolate brown eyes.

"Nothing really, we just talked." He nodded.

"Ok children," Miss Peregrine called out, "movie time!"

We all got up and headed for the living room, Enoch, Emma, and I all sat on one couch. Horace took his seat on a chair in the middle of the room and but a monical to his eye. It projected a movie like thing onto the wall. It showed Horace wearing a nice suit.

"Perfect." He said.

The scene changed it showed a teen boy with light brown hair and hazel eyes running through a hall with white flooring and walls.

"Katelyn!" The boy screamed, "Katelyn can you here me?! Katelyn!"

"Lucas!" Came a little girls voice, "Lucas where are you?!"

The boy, Lucas, ran over to a door and flung it open. Inside was a little girl, a little girl with medium length light brown hair, beautiful hazel eyes, and slightly tan skin. The boy embraced the girl.

"Katelyn oh my god thank goodness you're ok. Come on we have to hurry the hollows are coming."

The boy and little girl ran, there was a loud bone chilling monstrous roar.

"Hurry Katelyn it's coming!"

The girl began to breathe deeply unable to run anymore. The boy scooped her up and kept going. The roar was getting louder, and the boy stopped next to a room.

"Lucas what are you doing?"

"Get in that room and stay dead quiet." The girl was about to say something when he opened the door and shoved her inside. "I love you Katelyn." He said before he ran down another hallway. The hollow caught up to where she was and turned to follow Lucas.

The little girl was too shocked to do anything, until she heard a boy cry in pain.

"Lucas!" She flew open the door and sprinted down the hallway her heart beating violently in her chest. She stopped when she saw a body on the ground, Lucas.

She dropped to her knees and rolled the boy over. He was missing his eyes. Tears began rolling down her cheeks as she sobbed uncontrollably.

"Bubby."
