Chapter 6
Faded Love Story

Note: The composer of the song used is a different person. It was used for plot purposes.

SHE WAS SILENT as she was contemplating about what came about...

"So, that was day one, huh? It was already stressful! Gosh, I hate the guts of that Tifielle! I expected better from him! He just made it worse for you, didn't he? Are you okay?" Arnie blabbered about what happened earlier.

We just successfully passed the busy halls of rush hour. It was such a drag to be bumping into strangers. I had so many Earthlings to say sorry to. That was as if I'm not one of them. My thoughts made me feel quite better.

"Yup, I'm fine! I am a tough one, remember that. Don't worry too much. He will probably chicken out sooner or later," I assured her as I flash a wide grin. She subtly said something inaudible. It must be not that important to bring up.

We also winded up by the vegetable garden of the University before reaching the cafeteria. This is where the veggies in the canteen come from according to her.

Arnie and I just ate our snacks and came back for the second subject just to find out that there are no classes to be held further this day.

She said that she needs to go home already. She still needs to take care of some stuff in their household, and will take an early shift at her part time. I said my farewell then, waved a hand. It's a good thing that their office hours is not rigid. Kudos to their manager, I guess?

I was walking down the halls as I thought about what the heck just happened.

That short period was literally exhausting—not just physically. It felt like hell back there, being accused of being vain. Well, at least he apologized, right? I was just not expecting that from his jolly demeanor when we were outside the classroom. He was like a different person inside the four corners of the space. That felt like the distance between the sun and moon, the literal opposite of one another.

Dang. Is the new generation filled with facades? Haven't thought of that matter until now.

Ish! People nowadays. Talk about judgemental. My classmates on the other hand were so annoying. If I was not new in this school, I probably had punched the asshole that added salt to the wound. He made a chain of whispers without him realizing it. What is his problem, anyway?

Our classes unexpectedly ended earlier. I did think that it will just be a quick break, albeit it ceased all the way through. It was also announced that there won't be afternoon subjects because our course only has two whole-day class hours and it is on Tuesday and the day after. There might be extra studies on those days due to lack of time due to so much free time. Plus, only four days of school per week up to Thursday. Mr. Sollano said that the motive for that is for us to have enough time for projects and such.

'Phew! I thought that this school will surely be strict. Maybe, just for the first day.' My mind wondered.

That just means that we have a lot of rest days and I'll be home during Saturdays and Sundays and will be back for Monday classes. Still kinda' hectic though, because all those subjects will be discussed within that short period of time. No buts included. Well, it still has its perks, over which I'm glad about.

By the way, I was on my way to the dorm to change clothes. There's no task to do since I did it while discussing. I listened, okay? I just knew some of those topics that's why I was able to do the other tasks.

That would buy me a lot of time for myself. I'd probably eat then sleep next.

'What a lazy schedule. This would make me gain weight.' I almost scoffed at my thoughts. Me? Gain weight? As if. I also want that for myself, but unfortunately, that is a no-go for my metabolism.
