No ones P.O.V

Robin was upset,people at his school were always cruel to him but today...wasn't a good day, they knew that and took advantage of it and that's why Robin had locked himself in his room and was backed up against a corner silently crying with exceptions of a few soft whimpers and hiccups.

"Not today, why today"he whispered while clinging onto a small elephant toy like it was his lifeline. He'd been crying for so long that his face was red with tears and the sleeves of his blue hoodie was soaked.

The team had tried to get him to talk without much success,red arrow and kid flash would usually comfort him in these situations but he was off world and Wally was on a mission with the Flash,so it was up to the rest of the team to comfort the youngest member.

All the team got pretty much the same responses:

"Please...just leave me alone..."

Or just silence

They didn't know which was worse.

Kaldur tried the calm response:

"Robin..please come out,I have heard it helps to talk" a shuffle was heard on the other side of the door "then why *sniff* do you need me to come out?" even though Robin sounded just upset to Kaldur,but on the other side of the door it was clear that the youngest member of the team was slowly breaking... and he'd been broken before and barely got out from being completely shattered.

"Robin please talk to me" Kaldur had brought himself closer to the door to try give Robin some comfort,even though the only comfort Robin had right now was the soft touch of his toy elephant that was still held close to his chest ."Robin please"

Kaldur got silence.

M'gann tried to cheer him up

"Robin please come out,I have cookies! We can eat the together and-"

"-just go away"

M'gann was taken aback by this,Robin was never like this.

"Can I open the door?"she still remained cheery but she became softer and gentler with her words.

 
She stayed there for five minutes just listening to the occasional soft whimpers and sobs coming from the other side of the door.

"please...just leave me alone"he whispered,but is was loud enough for her to hear.

M'gann hated seeing Robin like this,what she hated even more was the fact she couldn't see him at all,all she wanted to do was give Robin a big hug!

But there was a door between them,one that wouldn't be opened.

"I'll go then" she floated off with her own tears in her eyes,she felt like she had let her little brother down,she felt like she needed to protect him and comfort him,but a closed door was between them,more literally and metaphorically.

Superboy wasn't very good at comforting but he somehow got further than the others,

"Robin listen...I'm not good at this but if you just tell me you're safe then I'll go if you'd like me to" he said as gentility was his rough and animalistic like nature would let him.Robin took a quick glance around the room before resting his head his head back on the toy "I'm safe now please just go"

Artemis tried...well anything:

"Robin your like family to me,maybe more.....please Robin just let me in"

Silence

"I'll kick the door down,I'm not kidding,you might as well just let me in already"

Silence

"Come on Robin you have to come out at some point"

Silence

"Well then I guess I have no choice"

*ten minutes later*

"Dick,it's Wally....please let me in" Wally whispered,but due to silence in the others room, he could easily be heard.

He closed the door behind him and sit next to his best friend,and they sat sat in silence for a while.

"It was Gabe wasn't it, that guys who stinks of sewers" Wally asked

Robin nodded and shuffled closer to his best friend "he knew about what today was...he and his friends thought it would be funny to..." Robin stopped mid sentence to dry his eyes.

"Funny to what?"Wally asked as gently as he could trying to hide the anger that was bubbling inside of him.

"Funny to tease me about my dead parents,funny to tell me the fact Bruce only adopted me because he wanted media attention, funny to lock me in the spots equipment cupboard...the usual"

'The usual' comment really set Wally off,he knew Gabe was really mean to Robin, but this was just bullying andWally knew that in every way it was wrong to bully.

Wally started to get up from his position on the floor "I'm going to find that guy and-"

"Please" Wally turned around to see the crying face of his best friend,the best guy he knew in fact, he had grabbed  Wally's hand as a subconscious message of wanting him to stay.

Wally sat down and wrapped his arms around the smaller hero hugging him, Robin hugged Wally back tightly and cried into his shirt.

Wally stroked the boys Raven black hair in effort to sooth him and eventually...it did.
