I wake up crying and out of breath from yet another bad dream. causing daddy to wake up groaning making me feel bad the I had woken him up because he looks so peaceful when he sleeps.

" Kitten"

Daddy whispers in the dark. I say nothing as he turns on the lamp on the bedside table lighting up the room a bit and sitting up, I grab my whiteboard, marker, and eraser before crawling into daddies lap.

" What's wrong why are you crying kitten "

He concerned wiping my tears away.

" I had a bad dream"

I write before moving it so he could see.

" Tell me about it"

He says calmly moving the hair from my face.

" You told me that I couldn't be your kitten anymore, and I asked you why then you said because I act like a child and me being a mute is too much to handle, I cried and begged you to let me stay, but you just said I'm not your daddy anymore and told me to leave"

I write crying even more. I honestly don't know why Vic still stays with me I'm such a mess, it's been about a week now since Vic asked me to be his little and this isn't the first time I've woken him up because of my bad dreams I'm just so scared he's going to realize that he deserves so much more than me.

" Kitten how many times do I have to tell you I would never leave you or hurt you"

He says kissing the top of my head.

" Pinky promise"
I write holding up my pinky.

" I pinky promise to never hurt you princess"

He says just holding me in his lap gently rocking me back and forwards giving me time to calm down.

" Do you want to go back to sleep kitten"

Daddy says after a few moments of silence, I say nothing just shake my head, no not wanting to have another bad dream and feeling wide awake now.

" Can you sing for me?"

I write before holding it up so he can see.

" Of course kitten but you'll have to get off so I can get my guitar okay I won't be long I promise"

He says kissing my cheek, I say nothing just nod my head getting off his lap, before he leaves the room to get his guitar. A few moments later he comes back holding a acoustic guitar and sits down on the bed in front of me crossed legged.

" Do you have a favorite song kitten"

He says.

" Can you sing me a song you wrote?"

I write before holding it up for him to see. I've honestly been dying to hear Vic sing especially his own music because after watching him work throughout the week I can see how passionate he really is about his music and helping people feel less alone.

" Okay this song is called bulletproof love"

He says before he starts playing. I say nothing just nothing my head yes before getting comfortable

I breathe you in with smoke in the backyard lights (backyard lights)

We used to laugh until we choked into the wasted nights (wasted nights)
It was the best time of my life, but now I sleep alone (sleep alone)
So don't, don't, don't wake me up, 'cause my thrill is gone (say I'm wrong)

In the sunset turning red behind the smoke,
Forever and alone, yeah!

You've gone and sewn me to this bed, the taste of you and me (you and me)
Will never leave my lips again under the blinding rain (blinding rain)
I wanna hold your hand so tight I'm gonna break my wrist (break my wrist)
And when the vultures sing tonight I'm gonna join right in.

I'll sing along, oh
'Cause I don't know any other song.
I'll sing along,
But I'm barely hanging on.
No,I'm barely hanging on.
By the time you're hearing this I'll already be gone.

And now there's nothing to do but scream at the drunken moon.

This isn't fair!
(No!)
Don't you try to blame this on me.
(Oh)
My love for you was bulletproof but you're the one who shot me.
And God damn it, I can barely say your name,
So I'll try to write it and fill the pen with blood from the sink.
Whoa,oh, oh, oh.

But don't just say it, you should sing my name.
Pretend that it's a song 'cause forever it's yours,
And we can sing this on the way home.

I'll sing along
(Oh)
'Cause I don't know any other song.
(Oh,oh)
I'll sing along,
But I'm barely hanging on.
No,I'm barely hanging on.
By the time you're hearing this I'll already be gone,

And now there's nothing to do but tear my voice apart.
Nothing to do, and scream at the drunken moon.

As he finishes the last note he stops playing and looks up at me.

"That was amazing daddy"

I write before holding it up so he can see. I can't believe he wrote that it was amazing and so filled with emotion as he sang with his beautiful voice I'm starting to see why everyone loves his music.

"Thank you kitten but you need to get some sleep now okay"
He says putting the guitar off the bed and laying down on the bed beside me pulling me into his warm embrace making me feel safe, warm, and at home.

"Goodnight kitten"

He says kissing the top of my head before he both falls into peaceful sleep.
