The Trail To Salvation

I've searched all the places, I've passed all the tides
I surrendered all I had, just to see where it hides
The sun blinded my vision, the stones barred my way
I fell hard on the ground, finding where the secrets lay.

Saw the mountains, touching heights of the skies
Saw the stars of the night, declare their pretty lies
Wondered why and where, I'd been going so long
Asked to myself, if I'd been doing it all wrong?

Stumbling, falling, I reached a place so lone
Realised all the way, I had not been alone
A light shone bright, right in front of my eyes
It was where the "you" starts, and where the "world" dies.

I could feel I was free, saw the walls around me break
Saw the trail to a new life, I knew I had to take
Next thing I knew, I was walking on the course
Leaving behind the broken, and the life of remorse.

Broken by love, shattered in piece
Never knew I'd pass, the obstacles with ease
Decided not to look behind, knowing where I headed
My heart started rising up, like all the pieces were threaded.

The dazzling sun could now, blind me no more
I left behind the pain, so long I bore
Then a hand held mine, and said walk along
Trust me my dear, I'll never do you wrong.

I know you've dealt with pain, I know you've been alone
But this time you'll be, a salvation of your own
For I am your God, and I'll keep you in my sight
Just keep moving on, and everything will be alright.
