The Story Of Our Love

I remember it was the time, when the memories flooded back
I could see you slowly fading, and everything turning black
You gave in all you had, just to see me smile once
But I just looked away, saying all this love is dunce.

I remember you were laughing, sitting next to me
I snapped back all that happiness, just to set me free
But sitting here all alone, I only hear your voice
You should've been lying next to me, if I hadn't made that choice.

One last time I want you to hold me, like the day you had been mine
Tonight I see the stars above, but I feel that they don't shine
The heart you had once owned, now its shattered and feels so weak
Now I have nothing left, but these teardrops down my cheek.

But its okay, I'll be fine, I know that I deserve it
Our love was a war, we lost long before we had it
But there's one thing that keeps me going, one hope I certainly hold
That somewhere behind the constellations, the story of our love will be told.
