Its a based on a Manga series but the season 3 just makes u seriously disappointed or thats at least how i feel BUT i encourage you to go and watch it! its on funimation! but! if you don't like watching sub *Mumbles again* Although sub is better just like how Einshine said

A high school girl who got kicked out of her house because she had no money due to her dads obsession to gamble then when she's outside crying to herself a man comes to her and kisses her forehead then she is told to go to a shrine. once she's at a shrine she meets a Man who was half fox and thats where He becomes her familiar and follows her around

Theres still a lot to it but its too much to explain just watch and see for yourself!
