I should've listened better,
I should've hugged you every day.
I shouldn't have got mad over stupid things,
I should've decided to stay.
Instead I'm lying in bed wondering why I let this happen,
Confused as to how quickly everything we built fell apart.
I should've kissed you or said I loved you before I left,
Instead I left it unannounced, now i think I broke my own heart.
