Newley named Turtlepaw stepped forward eagerly to touch noses with her mentor, Honeypool as cheering erupted around them, the loudest voice being her mother, Cherrytree.
The gathering broke apart, and warm golden eyes, betraying excitement just as strong as she felt, met Turtlepaw's own green ones. "We're apprentices now!" She yelped happily to her sister, Wavepaw, who waved her tail excitedly before turning to her new mentor, Pigeonfur, and asked eagerly "When can we explore the territory?"
"Right now." He responded. And with that, Turtlepaw, Honeypool, Wavepaw and Pigeonfur padded out of the camp and to the territory beyond.
