Chloe was sat at a large table and given a bowl of soup. "After you have eaten how about you go and explore"her aunt said. "I'd love to" Chloe replied bubbling with excitement. "You can go anywhere but not spruce forest, legend has it that it holds a cursed village no one lives there yet the fires are always lit and it's said that it is haunted by a hooded figure who roams the village at night" Chloe was mesmerised by what her aunt had to stay but she stuck by her rules and did as she was told.
When she was finished she headed outside. The warm ray of sun came down on her and white fluffy clouds drifted in the sky like sheep in a pool. She walked down a little pathway that lead to a small forest. The trees frowned on either side of her as she walked under its dappled light just then she heard a noise coming from behind her she spun around and what she saw mad her freeze.Dread washed over her a hooded figure was standing in front of her.
