Chapter 7

Alyssa's pov
6am
GOOD MORNING! It's the day of Semi Finals! I'm so nervous but excited at the same time
I got up and took a bath and got dressed for the day. I came to the kitchen to help cooking breakfast
As I help with the cooking I saw Sarah with the kids leading to each chair, "Good morning" I greeted her and she sent me a smile with a look of we need to talk
I looked at her curiously but let it go
After breakfast she went to me with a serious face and said "come with me"
I was about to ask her what about but she was already walking away for me to jog just to follow her
WHAT'S HAPPENING?
I just followed her until we enter the office and saw Gladys
"Have a sit" Gladys said and I did with a question
"What's happening?" I asked nervously looking at them both
"Alyssa... We don't know how to start or say this so we're just gonna say it to you.." Gladys started and she looked at Sarah
I wasn't able to speak when Sarah spoke that made me freeze
*We think we found your mother* Sarah's words kept ringing in my head
Wha-aaattttt?????!!!!
"Wh-a-a-tt?" I stuttered out as a drop of tear fell
"We're not sure yet but for that to be sure you'll need to have a DNA test" Gladys calmly said and Sarah went to comfort me.
I let out a sob and no one dared to speak
As I calmed down and pulled away from the comfort Sarah gave me, I gathered all my strength and said "May I know who is my mother?" looking at their eyes beggingly
They gave me a warm smile before saying "Of course! She also told or maybe begged us to tell you about her..." Sarah said smiling and I didn't let her finish when I spoke impatiently
"Who is she?" I told them
"She's Amanda Holden" wait wait wait wait wait
OHMYGOOOOOOOOOODDD!!!!!!!!!!
I was shocked at first but a happiness came over me and asked them "Really??"
Wiping my tears, still smiling
"Yes.. Maybe but we need you to take DNA test first. Alright?" They told me
I nodded and was about to leave when Sarah reminded me "Just talk to her secretly first maybe?" and she gave me a wink and a smile
I nodded and giggle closing the door behind me

BGT STUDIO

All of the judges are in the dressing room including baby Eric
"Hey you!" Simong cooed at his son playing with him
All the make up artists and the other judges are looking at them cutely
"bye eric" "bye littleman" Simon and the judges said bidding goodbye to Eric
"all right! It's time!" one of the crew shouted
They all got up and walk through the studio

Amanda's pov

We walk through the studio and I can here the audience clapping and shouting
Aww how I love them cheer
Simon helped me to sit on my chair after I wave at the audiences
"thank you" I mumbled smiling at him and he gave me a smile back
We we're about to start when someone hold my shoulders "Ms.Holden" she says
Alyssa.... I stood up and looked at her
There's something about how she looks at me
Does she know??
We hug and she whispered "I know" with a giggle
I pulled away from the hug and looked at her shocked and I smiled
We hugged again and I can see Simon's eyes on us
Uh oh. I still never thought of what should I do
"Let's talk later" I whispered to her before we pulled back in our hug and she went to the backstage
I sat and the show begun
When the 10mins came, I walk to the backstage and saw my daughter
"Hey" I greeted getting her attention
"Are you really my mom?" She asked confrontly but smiling
I looked at her by surprised by then I answered "Yes.. maybe but I'm sure am" I said laughing
We talked and catched up for a little bit when "Break is over!" the crew shouted and I got up to walk away but Alyssa pulled me into another hug and told me "I'm so glad you're my mom!"
And I hugged her back tightly

--fast forward—
Alyssa leveled up to the finals!

Unknown's pov

You're not gonna get your happy ending little brat!
I'm gonna make sure of it

Simon's pov

I never saw Amanda and Alyssa so close before
What changed?
And yesterday Amanda was about to tell me something..
I gotta talk to her so I walked in the backstage seeing Amanda and Alyssa hugging
I waited until Amanda went to our dressing room but I suddenly froze hearing what just Alyssa called mandy
"See you Mom" Alyssa said
It was in a low voice but I still heard it
*mom* she called Mandy mom!
What's happening?!
I really need to talk to her
I walked to the dressing room and entered. I looked around and saw that it's just me, her and eric.
So I took the chance and locked the door
"Mandy" I started making her jump
"Si-mon!" she said smiling recovering from the little shock I gave her..
