After Kaleb had dropped me off at my house, I decided to start gettinh ready for the dance. It only started at 6:30, but Kaleb and I had to be there at 6:00 to prepare for our performance.

I showered and washed my hair. Thankfully, the style of my dress did not require me to shave my legs.

Once I was out the shower, I changed into a t-shirt and sweatpants and began to do my makeup. Since my dress had a zip, I didn't need to worry about getting makeup on it. Half an hour later, I walked down the stairs in my amazing dress with my hair and makeup done to find Kaleb waiting for me.

Kaleb's POV

I decided to surprise Casey by picking her up and taking her to the dance. I arrived at her house and sat in the lounge talking to her mom. Then, I saw her.

When she walked down the stairs, i couldn't help but stare. She looked amazing. Somehow, the dress looked even more amazing on her now than it did in the shop.
"Casey, you look amazing!" I said, maybe a little to keenly. She laughed,
"You look really great too." making me blush.
"Shall we go milady?" I said, offering her my arm and sming.
"I'd be honoured." She said, taking my arm.

We arrived at the dance and went backstage to get our microphones and to get ready. Minutes before going on stage, when Casey and I were standing behind the curtain she looked at me with fear in her eyes.
"I can't do this Kaleb. I'm so scared!"
With full knowledge that the curtain could lift at any moment, I walked over and hugged her.
"Case, I know you. You will ne amazing. You have the best voice I've ever heard." I told her.
"Thanks Kubs, thats really sweet." She smiled.
Then the curtain lifted and the music started. Beside me, Casey took a deep breath, and started to sing.

Casey's POV

It felt amazing, being up on stage again, singing my heart out with my best friend. And it was all over too quickly. Before I knew it, Kaleb had taken my hand and was pulling me off stage. Once we were behind the curtain, Kaleb hugged me.
"Merry Christmas Case." He whispered. He pulled away and smiled.
"I have a surprise!" He said. "I'm taking you to Michael Bublé! And dont worry, I've arranged with Amy and James and they're going together, so don't stress."
"Oh my gosh!" I said, hugging him
"Thank you so much!"
"My pleasure Case." He said. He edged closer, and then we were kissing. H3 pulled away quickly.
"I'm sorry, was that ok? I didn't mean to..." he stuttered. I smiled. "It's ok, Kubs, it's ok." He smiled back and kissed me again.

I couldn't help but smile. My Christmas wish had come true. And it was better than I had ever imagined.
