Bad dream :(

In my dream, something bad was happening to earth and everybody was dying but my family got saved (all except my step dad) and we were gonna start living on a different planet but I wanted to say goodbye to him so we went back to earth and when we got there he was at a bar getting drunk and just waiting to die. I wanted to talk to him but he was wasted so he just walked away. I grabbed a piece of paper and wrote him a big letter telling him how much I loved him and would miss him when we all died. Then I woke up crying.
