So when we decided to go to the cinema, I had a choice between Vaiana and Fantastic Beasts.

Now, I had already seen FBAWTFT, and I had heard that Lin-Manuel Miranda had written some of the songs to Vaiana. Because of that I decided to give the Disney movie a shot (which fit perfectly to the fact that I was dragging my 6-year old brother and my 11 year old sister with me to the cinema)

So, some background info: I nearly always groan when people sing in Disney movies. Except the villains. I love the villains' songs.

I expected to do the same here, luckily the song Lin had written was played through the entire movie and I didn't even groan. Actually he does also sing in one of the songs, but since I was watching it in German (because, you know, I was in a German cinema and Germany translates everything that gets past the borders. Like honestly, they never use subtitles) I didn't get to hear him sing.

But it was a great movie, with great music. For the first time in forever since Frozen.

(Note I just got informed it's actual name is Moana. I am blaming Germany and Spotify)
