Pony's Birthday Rant

OOKKKKAAYYYY GUYSSS 

I posted this in my conversations, but I wanted all of you guys who don't currently follow me to hear this too. I'm just gonna copy and paste this from my conversation wall where its posted, but seriously I have gone through great debate and mental turmoil with this topic.

OKAy, I have a very important rant that I would like you all to read because it is very dear to me. IN ALL THESE pictures that have the characters birthdays on it, it says Ponyboy's birthday is JULY 22ND. BUT In the BOOK and the movie in the church Johnny is like "Awe its my fault for bringing a thirteen year old kid" and then Pony makes it VERY clear that he has been fourteen for a month. So we can now conclude that Pony has been Fourteen for a month when the book takes place. Now if Pony's birthday were JULY 22ND then that means that the book takes place in AUGUST. WHICH IT DOESNT. According to how Pony is FREEZING at the drive-in, and that it is FREEZING at the church and it is FREEZING when Johnny kills Bob, AND HOW IM PRETTY SURE IT WAS MENTIONED SOMEWHERE THAT THERE WAS ICE ON THE FOUNTAIN PONY WAS ALMOST DORWNED IN, AND how THE WHOLE BOOK is just Ponyboy's SEMESTER THEME. NOW CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG BUT I DONT THINK YOU WRITE END OF THE SEMESTER THEMES AT THE BEGGINING OF THE YEAR. So for these reasons the book has to take place in like the November-March window. NO WHERE NEAR AUGUST! So that means it would be IMPOSSIBLE for Pony's birthday to be in July!!! I know its like just something ppl came up with, but fr it didn't take me that long to think about that logic.THAT BOTHERS ME SO MUCH WHEN PPL POST STUFF SAYING HBD PONY WHEN IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR IT TO BE PONY'S BIRTHDAY IN JULY (Not that I don't love seeing Ponyboy posts bc Ponyboy is baeee) BUT STILL

ANd like I know S.E. Hinton apparently confirmed his birthdate as July 22nd, but it just doesn't make much sense to me. S.E. HINTON WE WANT ANSWERS!!!!!!!!
