Chapter Six

Telling the truth won't be easy but hiding the truth is much harder mostly to those people who are important to you.

"Yeah! You were right!" he agreed. "But you know, no matter what you do or try to avoid those persons from your past, it would comes back around since that the earth is round. You couldn't avoid that long." he said with a point and he knows it was the truth but Rica didn't answer it just stares from afar.

Isang mahabang katahimikan ang muling bumalot sa kanila at hinintay niya lang itong muling magsalita at hindi naman siya nabigo.

"So," it said while sighing. "It's late already. So, we should go back to our rooms." It suggested.

"Then, I'll escort you back to your room." He simply answered that made Rica laughs. "What?" he asked surprisingly.

"Do you really need to escort me?" it answered. "You know what, mas makakabuting dito na tayo maghiwalay, okay?"

Dexter smiles gladly. "Then, how about we considered that the person that you were trying to escape this earlier was still there? Would you mind if you go on with your own?"

Rica was a bit surprised of what Dexter just said and it made her speechless for a moment but then on, she smiles at him.

"You know what," then she laughs. "Hontōni! Watashi wa hoka ni nani ga iwanakereba naranai no ka wakaranai."

(Really! I don't know what else I have to say.)

"Oh, come on!" it suddenly complained that she laughs about. "Now you're laughing!"

"Sorry, I just couldn't help it because you were too cute on how you complained!" she honestly answered.

"Woah! That's the first!" it shockingly reacted.

"What?"

"That I'm cute but if I'm complaining." It answered with disappointed.

"Oh, no! Don't be too disappointed about it, it just... well," then she shrugs and smiles.

"Ouch!" it reacted while holding its chest. "Now, I'm hurt." It sadly added.

Rica giggles about it then, "alrigth! First I'm sorry. Second. Sige na, ihatid mo na ako sa kuwarto namin at baka kung ano pang masabi mo. At third, huwag ka nang magtampo okay?"

"Huhm! After what you did?!" it answered in a boastful way.

"Oh, no! Come on!" sabay iling niya rito at kapit sa braso nito. "Tara na nga at baka magbago pa ang isip mo at iwan mo na lang ako basta." Dagdag biro niya rito.

"Naku, kung hindi ka lang maganda eh!"

Natawa siya sa tinuran nito. "Hay! Tara na nga!" sabay hila niya rito at hindi na niya binigyan pa ito ng pagkakataong makaangal.

The next day.

"So, what happened between you and Dex?" suddenly Veron asked her when it entered her room.

"Wow! Ha! Maka-Dex ka naman diyan!" sabay iling niya rito.

"What?" then it sits at the sofa. "Wala namang problema roon, ah! Puwera na nga lang kung, alam mo na!" sabay kibit-balikat nito sa kanya.

"Baliw!" sabay bato niya rito ng unan na sinalo lang naman nito. "Friends lang kami nun!"

"Sus! Friends ka diyan!"
