Just tell me
Say anything
Anything hurts less than the quiet
bobbys POV
I knew it, from the moment she told me about being 'scared' of bumping into someone, a familiar pair of blue eyes popped into my head, Luke Hemmings. I didn't really have anything against him, well, I had a bad impression of him and ever since then, He's been ruining my life little by little.
First he stole my girlfriend then he stole my best friend, Matt. I'm a very forgiving person and I don't necessarily blame him, in a way I blame myself for loosing contact with Matt and letting people like Olivia slip out of my life, I didn't exactly know this Hemmings kid so how could I judge or hate him.
"Don't know him," was all I said to Liza though, I don't like lying, but It was a white lie though and I didn't feel like explaining to her how the new kid was able to sleep with my current girlfriend at the time. No hate on Olivia though, she is, she was the best girlfriend ever.
"Oh, okay," Liza seemed a bit disappointed but maybe that was just me seeing things.
It became silent and we looked strange, two teenagers standing in a car park not talking and not doing anything. Two minutes of silence. It killed me, It made my insides burn, so the first thing that came to mind was, 'change the subject bobby, what a great idea bobby'.
So I told her that we should go to registration and find her buddy.
On the way there we bumped into one of my good friends, Cameron. I gave him a quick introduction to Liza and the same back.
"Cam, Liza, Liza, Cam."
"Wow so creative huh," Cameron rolled his eyes.
"Uh yeah, well hello I'm Liza and I'm from the Usa," Liza put her hand out, I could tell that she was nervous, it was cute but even so, I gave her a sympathetic smile.
Cameron slapped her hand away and brought her into a hug. You could just, smell the awkwardness, but awkward is a two way street and Cameron is never awkward. I could tell that Cameron and Liza are totally different in their personalities but, something told me that they would get to become great friends.
We had to leave Cameron though, since I had a course in ten minutes while Liza was still confused so we had to get her buddy soon.
Opening the office doors was like walking off a beautiful cliff, your heads are in the clouds until you fall. Liza was talking passionately about Australia while I carefully watched the spark in her eyes every time she spoke, until we went inside the sorting office, I saw Olivia patiently waiting on the small black couches near the coffee tables covered in college magazines and a brochure to the campus.
"Hey, I'm Olivia," she stood up straightening her skirt and sticking her hand out, "You must be Liz-" her channel of thought was broken when she saw me.
"Oh hey Bobby, Didn't know that you were already friends with the new girl, if you want, you can be her buddy and I can just go."
"Uh yeah, we're friends, and that won't be needed, I've got a class soon and Liza," I turned to look Liza in the eye, "you need more than two friends here so be nice to Olivia."
Liza's POV
'Olivia, that name sounds so familiar,' I thought.
