It was roughly 2:37 a.m. and I was happy. My channel just hit five million subscribers and I felt so accomplished. Hitting five million was mad, I stared at the screen seeing my subscriber count. My phone started to buzz and it was Courtney.
"Why hello," I said. "Congrats on 5 million Simon!! You fully deserve it." Courtney said. "Thank you Court, what are you doing tonight?" "Umm I don't know. " she replied. "So maybe - uhh- can I take you out for dinner?" My voice sounding shaky. "Why did you get so nervous," she said giggling," but yes I would love to go to dinner you." "You make me nervous. But I'll pick you up at 8, Josh recommended me to this restaurant, by the way why are you up?" "I could ask you the same question, but I filmed today and edited." "Pretty much just had a recording session with the guys. Get some rest love, I'll see you at 8." "Bye Simon," as she hung up the phone.
❀Courtney's POV + 7:30 pm❀
"Frey, you said the place Josh took you was fancy?" I said as I tried on yet another dress. I walked to her room and she shook her head. "Yeah it is, by the way not that dress." I groaned as I went back in my room and looked for another dress. I immediately locked my eyes on this dress, I slipped it on and put on black heels. I looked in the mirror and I loved it, hopefully Freya would approve. I walked to her room for the hundredth time. "Oh my gosh Court, yes it's that dress. Yes you look beaut," Freya said as I smiled doing a spin.

"Add this on your arm for a little bit of bling and that lace chocker you got from Westfield," she said giving me this good arm thing. I went to my room and got my chocker. There was a knock on the door and Simon was early.I heard Freya scurry to the door, the door opened and I heard his laugh. I got up from my bed and grabbed my clutch. I walked down the corridor and the anticipation killed me.
❀Third Person❀
Courtney turned the corner to notice Simon Minter, she smiled immediately. Simon reciprocated the smile as he scanned her up and down, "you look gorgeous Court." Courtney couldn't help but admire Simon as he stood there. Freya took a picture of the two and after that they left. They went in the lift, shared a great conversation. Simon just couldn't take his eyes or hands off of her waist.
Once they reached to the restaurant, they were sat at the table and were given wine. "Simon, try that wine," as she joked because they both talked about hating wine. Simon took a sip and twitched a bit as he giggled covering his mouth. "It's shit init?" Courtney added as she tried to hold back her laughter. "Go on then, try not to react to the wine," her eyes darted at his, and then swirled the glass around. She took a sip and managed to get it down, her fingers tapped the table as she pulled a face. "I cannot believe people drink this Simon," she said as Simon laughed. "It was free wine, I had to give it a try," Simon said showing his dimple. The waiter came and introduced himself, he eyed Courtney and Simon obviously caught it. Courtney realized that Simon was feeling little about the situation, because they didn't pronounce themselves as a couple. She reassured where she lied when she extended her arm and intertwined her hand with his. She sent him a wink and with his other hand that rests under the table he squeezed his thigh. "I need a cold shower," he said under his breath causing Courtney to burst into laughter, "you get me, you do."
They enjoyed their meal and left the restaurant, Simon took her to view the Tower Bridge. Their hands were intertwined as Simon stopped her, she was looking at the view. "You cold?" He asked as she nodded, he placed his jacket on her and it was cute because it was over sized. Simon looked at her looking at the view, and with a swift motion he placed he arm around her waist and turned her towards him. They looked at each other and all the tension built up between them was released when Simon closed the distance, and placed his lips upon hers. She placed her hand on his neck, as his hands wrapped around her waist. She pulled back and placed her head on his chest.
"Friends don't do this Simon," as she looked up at him. "Alright then, date me." Simon said and Courtney looked up at him. "That's not how you ask a lady," Courtney contested. "I'm just playing with you, Courtney Sage," he said grabbing both of her hands," I like you, and I'd rather be arguing with you than be with someone else - you know that sounded better in my head," Simon said as Courtney beamed," um I'm not good with words Court, but I just want to make you happy." And with that Courtney brought Simon close and kissed his lips. He responded immediately and kissed back. "Simon that was so sweet, I really appreciate you. And stop it you are good with your words," Courtney said as they began to walk to the car. "I'm also good with my mouth," he looked at her wiggling his eyebrows. She hit his chest lightly and they laughed enjoying each others company.
As they were in the car they opened up more to each other, about how they actually feel. {not love yet lol} Simon had his glasses on as he was driving her to her flat. "Oh shut up you totally wanted to kiss me yesterday on the balcony, don't you lie to me," as she laughed looking at him. Time flew by it was around 11:03 p.m. "I'm not saying a thing, my lips are sealed love," Simon said as he turned the car. "Does that annoy you, like when I call you love. It kind of came naturally, hehe like me." "You are too much, and I don't really mind it, like if it flows."
He pulled into the car park and Courtney hoped out the car. "I'll walk you up girlfriend," as he closed the door for her. "Proper cringe Simon, but your cute," they held hands as they entered the lift and walked to Courtney's door. "Thank you for today Simon, I had a great time," Courtney said as Simon wrapped his arms around her waist. "And I liked seeing your cute little dimple too," she said as she put her hands around his neck. Her fingers glided along the back of his hair, Simon looked down at her and kissed her lips slowly. She kissed back as Simon's grip tightened, pulling back Simon placed little kisses on her neck.
"I will talk to you tomorrow Court," Simon said, "I'll be around here I'm filming a video with the guys. We're trying to bang out videos, because this book thing is gonna get crazy." She nodded as she took off his coat and gave it to him. They said their final goodbyes.
"I'm happy I'm with you," Simon said. "Me too Simon," Courtney replied unlocking her door and being bombarded by Freya.
