"So.....why are we burning all this wood?" Kol questioned as he sat on the hood of his new Ferrari 458 Italia that he had Nik buy him after he saw Rebekah's Car,
Carolina smiled at his question, it was a full moon and they both had parked on the mystic fall bridge, "Will you keep this a secret between the two of us?" she asked looking at him seriously,
"Are you not going to even tell Nik or Rebekah?" Kol asked raising an eyebrow,
"No, this will be our secret" Carolina replied smiling,
Kol nodded at that. He liked how she chose him to share this secret, whatever this is.

"We are burning the white oak tree" Carolina confessed, Kol jumped down from the hood and looked at her with astonishment.
"That is not possible, others burned it thousand years ago when we left the new world! " Kol told her shocked, pointing a finger at the burning wood.
"That's true, but the white oak tree is magic, tied to you all-the originals, it grew back" Carolina explained as she too got down from the hood.
"That's true, we have to stop it from growing again then." Kol looked like he just had an epiphany, and then he looked around carefully scanning everything there to not miss anything like a wooden board,
"How are we going to do that? I may be a siphoner but I don't have much experience with magic, not everyone around is willing to give me their magic" Carolina said in a humoured tone,
Kol opened his arms like he was the iron man of mystic falls, he said, "I don't wish to make you feel inferior, but there's no one in this world who knows more about magic than I."
"Let's do it then," Carolina said as she laughed at him and patted his back.
They joined hands to siphon Kol's never-ending source of magic as Kol explained to her what to do. . . . .
" Do you want some marshmallows now?" Carolina asked happily taking out two packets from her bag in the car,
"Marsh-what?" Kol questioned, confused. If he wasn't wrong they didn't exist when he was the ree in this world.
Carolina gaped at him in astonishment, before rushing to get another packet out of her bag.
