Nagising ako ng tumama ang sinag ng araw sa mukha ko. Kinuha ko ang phone ko sa side table and checked if may message si Jho pero wala. She's still mad, i guess.
Yes, I did agree with Maddie. Im here at her house and im staying here for one week gaya ng sinabi nya. I know im very stupid to grant her request because i have Jho now. Pero im seeing this opportunity na in this way my what ifs will be answer and I can truly get over Maddie. This will serve as our closure, I think?
Also, Maddie said this would be the last, maganda na rin siguro 'to because after this week I assume na Maddie will be really gone, mapapanatag na si Jho. Maddie will be put out of the picture. And lastly, Maddie's eyes... I can say no to that. Hay.
I texted Jho a good morning and then I went to the bathroom para maghilamos.
After that, bumaba na rin ako. May naamoy ako so I gues Maddie's cooking breakfast kaya dumiretso ako sa kusina.
Nakailang balik ako sa living room and sa labas ng kitchen, this is awkward! For pete's sake she is my ex! Ugh, okay calm down Bea you got this.
I fake cough, Maddie turn her back. "Hi, good morning." She greeted me.
"Need some help?"
"Yes please." She said kaya tumuloy na ako sa pagpasok sa kitchen. "Please arrange the table matatapos naman na ako dito." I just nod.
After kong mag-ayos umupo na ako. I watched Maddie as she move while wearing her pink apron. When we're still together I always see myself like this, waking up in the morning and watch her cook my breakfast.
"Pede na ba mag-asawa?"
"Huh?"
"Wala, sabi ko ready na 'yung breakfast." Sabi niya at nilapag ang bacon at omelette sa table.
"Dont worry walang tomatoes yan."
"You still remember it huh?" Sabi ko habang kumukuha ng rice.
"Of course, I still do." I looked at her and she' smiling at me, ugh stop. "Hey I can do that Bei, no need." And then poof, i realized that im putting rice in her plate too! Damn Beatriz!
"Uhh, okay. Sorry."
"No worries." Sabi niya habang nakangiti padin kaya kinuha ko na lang yung omelette.
"I remember nung prinank ka nina Ponggay. Yung nilagyan nila ng chocolate coating yung kamatis tapos sa sobrang excited mo kinagatan mo agad." She laughed, "your face is priceless, Bei. Pero ilang araw mo din kaming hindi pinansin nun especially Ponggay and Kim!!"
"Tss, I really really hate tomatoes sobrang weird lang talaga ng texture and lasa, lahat na."
"You look like a Kid. Cute." She started eating and im here staring at her because of what she said. I just shrug off and started eating too.
"Hmm. This is good." I said.
"Really?"
"Yes. Sobrang layo sa lasa nung una mong nilutong omelette." I laugh and as if on cue naningkit ang mata ni Maddie at humaba ang nguso niya.
"Tss, bully."
"That was your first time to cook for the team right? All was excited even me because that's the first pero we cried kasi sobrang alat!" I just cant stop laughing. Hay.
"And everyone ran into the sink to wash their tounges and yung iba kumuha ng chocolates sa ref para mawala yung alat." She added.
"Yes!! Halos lumindol yung dorm!"
"Tss, atleast I tried!" She said but i just can't stop laughing and after that we found ourselves laughing together.
"Enough okay. Hay." Maddie said while laughing at hawak ang tsan niya.
Pinunasan ko naman ang luha sa mata ko at uminom ng tubig. "I missed you, Mads."
