JYN'S POV:
Who was that man?
I went out for breakfast with my bestfriend Rey at a place in Manhattan called Buvette.
We took a seat at a table near the window. A waiter with brown hair tied up in a bun came towards us.
"Hi there, welcome to Buvette! May I take your order?"
"I'll have the Pouples Aux Olives, please." Rey said while pointing at the menu.
"And you miss?" The waiter faced to me.
"Uh, I'll take the same."
The waiter leaves.
...
"So, how are you feeling after what happened?"
"Depressed."
Rey's smile turned upside down.
"You'll be okay, I know it." Rey started smiling again.
Then Rey started to tell Jyn a story about how her boyfriend Finn saved her from falling into a lake.
But Jyn was daydreaming about the man. Mexican. With a thick accent and beautiful smile.
"So then this guy wearing a red hat pu-"
"Rey, have you ever dreamt of someone you've never met?"
"Well, what do you mean?"
"Last night I dreamt about this guy who cheered me up. We danced in the garden."
Rey seemed interested.
"Jyn. Forget about it, okay? He's probably just part of your imagination or a character from a movie you've just watched. Its not real."
"Hm."
"It. Wasn't. Real."
"I guess it wasn't real right?"
Rey nods.
But it felt so real.
Jyn couldn't stop thinking about him.
The food arrives.
"Finally! Let's eat first then you can go talk about whatever you want." Rey looked excited.
After breakfast, I walked home.
"JYN? JYN IS THAT YOU?!"
Jyn turns around.
"Mike?!"
It was Mike on his bicycle.
"JYN! Stay there! Im coming!"
Jyn turns back around and ran as fast as she can.
"Jyn wait up!"
Mike got off his bike and started chasing Jyn.
"Sorry, excuse me, pardon me, there's a crazy guy chasing me." Jyn tried to push many people out of her way.
Jyn ran into an alley where she found a dead end.
"Jyn!"
"Mike, please I do-"
Mike was panting. He bended and put both of his hands on his knees and raised one up.
"Wait... Huff... Huff... Phew. I didn't know you can run that fast." Mike wiped the sweat on his forehead
"Mike what do you want." Jyn giving him the 'I don't care' face.
"Just please let me explain."
"I don't need an explanation! I saw what happened."
"Jyn-"
"NO! Now here's a warning, if you ever text me, call me, or even talk to me again, you'll regret it."
Jyn pushes Mike and walks out.
"What are you gonna do, huh? Kill me?"
"I'll BURN YOUR COMPUTER AND ALL YOU PRECIOUS STUFF!"
Mike looked suprised.
Jyn finally got home in peace.
