Chapter 10: Darth Vader

CASSIAN'S POV:
"His name is Bodhi. I'll try and contact him now."
I quickly took out my phone and called Bodhi.

"Okay."

Dialing...

"Please answer Bodhi."

"Hello?" Bodhi's voice wasn't really clear.

"Bodhi! We need to talk. Can we meet today?" I said.

"What? What's wrong?"

"I'll explain later. What time are you free?"

"Uh..." There was a long pause.

"So?"

"Coffee? 5p.m.? At Starbucks?"

"Alright I'll see you there."

"Bye."

And like that, the phone call ended.

"So? What did he say?" I completely forgot Jyn was next to me.

"He can meet us at 5. Starbucks. You okay with that?"

"Sure." Jyn sighs.

I stare at Jyn.
I took her hand and held it tightly.

"Everything's going to be fine." I said.

She glanced at me before looking at the lake.
"I hope so."

...
5:00p.m.

I wake up to the sound of my alarm.

I took a nap after meeting Jyn at the lake just now.

Ring

Ring

My phone was vibrating beside me.

JYN CALLING..

And then I finally realise the time.

"Shit." I jumped off my bed and put on my clothes.

My phone continues to vibrate and I answered.

"I'll be there in a minute." I said immediatly.

"Hurry up!" Said Jyn.

I ended the phone call and literally ran to Starbucks.

I opened the door and see Jyn ordering her coffee.
"Hey Jyn!"

I somehow startled her.

"Oh hey. Where's Bodhi?" she asked looking around the coffee shop.

Bodhi was sitting at a table with two chairs in the corner facing the street.

"There he is." I point at Bodhi.

I walked towards Bodhi.

"Hey man." I fist bumped Bodhi and sat in front of him.

"What's up Cassian." said Bodhi.

"Look, I invited a friend. Her name's Jyn."

"She doesn't happen to be the girl you were talking about the other day hm?" Bodhi said sarcastically.

"Please, do NOT say a word about that." I said.

"Hm, where is she anyway?" Bodhi looked around.

"Let me guess, she's the one with the bun and bangs?" He said.

"Uh, yeah? How did you know?" I said.

"Alright what do you need Cassian?" He said.

Jyn took a chair from another table and put it in the middle.

"Hey there. I'm Jyn." Jyn shook Bodhi's hand.

"Bodhi." He smiled.

"So what did Cassian get you in to now?" said Bodhi.

"Look, I don't what's been happening. I've been seeing things. Like this man, he wears a black cape and a black mask. And there's another man, wearing white. He wasn't wearing a mask though." said Jyn.

Bodhi froze.

"Bodhi? You alright man?" I asked waving my hand at him.

"Cassian, I think I need you to go into Jyn's dream again." said Bodhi.

"What? Why? I thought it's against the rules?" said Jyn.

"Just do it, then come back to me and tell me everything."

"Uh, okay?" I said.

Suddenly the man with the black mask walked into the cafe.

"C-Cassian, are y-you seeing what I'm seeing?" Jyn was shaking.

"See what?" Bodhi looking confused.

"It's him." I point at the man.

"I don't see anything guys." said Bodhi.

The man with the cape walked towards us.

"Captain... Cassian... Andor." said the man with the cape.

I looked at Jyn and I could see she doesn't know what he's talking about.

"Hey guys are you okay?" said Bodhi.

"And Jyn Erso! Daughter of the great Galen Erso who made the death star." He laughed.

And it was not just a laugh.
It was an evil laugh.

"I-I don't know what you're talking about." said Jyn.

"Oh SHUT UP!" He took out his light saber.

"Yo guys? Who are you talking to?" asked Bodhi.

"Do you know who I am?" The man asked.

Me and Jyn didn't move.

"No?" The man said.
"I'm Darth Vader."

He swings his light saber but before he hit Jyn, he vanished.

A tear dropped from Jyn's eye.

"Jyn are you okay?" asked Bodhi.

"N-no.. I'm not." She sighed.

"Who the hell were you guys talking to?"

I couldn't speak.

"You didn't see him!?" I said to Bodhi.

"No! What are you guys talking about?"

"I can't do this anymore. I'm going." Jyn got up from her seat.

"Wait Jyn!" I grabbed her arm.

"Don't." Tears streamed from her eyes and she left.

People started to stare.

"I'm sorry Bodhi I gotta go too." And like that, I left my confused friend, Bodhi, alone.
