Joseph's P.O.V
I got back to my house well after midnight and walked into the living room where I heard the TV running.I walked in and saw Emily and Jem sound asleep on the couch.Jem was curled up on Emily's stomach and it was pretty cute.I took a photo of the two of them hoping to be able to use it at some point later.I picked up Jem carefully and had her go outside while I woke Emily up.I carefully shook her and she groaned but opened her eyes.I gave her a small smile.She rubbed her eyes and sat up.
"What time is it?"
"Well after midnight."
"I need to get home."
"Why don't you stay here tonight?It's really late and you can take the guest room with Jem and just go home in the morning.It'd be much safer."
"Alright."
I went and let Jem in before taking Emily up to the guest room with Jem in her arms.Jem happily placed herself on the bed near the pillows and Em looked at me.
"Thanks for letting me stay here."
"Anytime.I'll see you in the morning."
"Yeah.Night."
"Goodnight."
