After long hours of searching, Bella had given up on the sleepover her friends and she were going to have that night. She had found Audrey who had told her that the sleepover had been rescheduled. Then she found Jane, who had had a hair makeover by Mal. Bella was not disturbed by this; she was happy for her friend.

Bella was now sitting at the dinner table with her parents and her brother. Family dinners were always awkward for her. She felt more like an outcast other than an equal.

"How was school today?" Her father asked to what would seem to no one in particular but in reality, she knew who he was asking.

"It was good, especially tourney tryouts," Bellas dad looked up at Ben intrigued, he was a huge fan of tourney and nothing made him happier than his son being interested in his favorite sport, "Jay made it on the team for sure, he's an amazing forwarder."

Bella's dad's mood had seen a little cold at the mention of the villain's son, no one except Belle noticed and she quick diverted the conversation.

"How was your day Bella?" Bella looked up stunned that they had asked her. Mash potatoes were still on her lips as she regained her poster and quickly took her napkin and wiped her lips clean.

"It was very good actually, I had an algebra test. Passes with flying colours. Cheer practice was good and I saw Carlos beat Ben's record for fastest runner." This seemed to catch his father's attention.

"A villain kid beat MY son at something!" His voice boomed throughout the dining room.

"Oh yeah," Bella continued, "you should've seen him go. Once Dude started chasing him her was," Her brother coughed as she looked up to see her dad fuming, "off." She finished and went back to eating.

The next day Bella skipped into Auradon Prep with her bright yellow shirt and black suspender skirt.

"Well, you look happy today." Jane noticed as she straightened her dress.

"It's game day, of course, I am, who isn't happy on game day." Bella smiled putting her books in her locker.

Jane looked down at her watch and began to be more nervous, "Oh no, I'm late to potions, I have to get going"

I'm going to go catch up on some history homework, I'll be in the study hall." And with that Bella and Jane went running off their separate ways.

Later that evening Bella was out in the field along with the cheerleaders.

"This is a nail-biter, folks. There are 47 seconds left on the clock. We're all tied up. The Sherwood falcons, two. The fighting knights, two. What a game between Auradon's fiercest rivals." Bella looked up at the scoreboard to see 2-2, she then looked at the players and gave her brother a thumbs up. He head was then directed towards Carlos who gave her a goofy smile. She giggled and waved back.

She watched the game with intensity. Once her brother had made the final goal she erupted in cheers and ran out to the field.

"That was incredible!" She yelled as she engulfed her brother in a huge hug.

Ben proceeded to take the mic as he started to yell out Mal's name.

Bella laughed and saw Carlos in the corner talking to Jay. She jogged up to him and bopped him on the back of the head.

"You did amazing out there!" Jay had left and it was only Carlos and Bella

"Thanks, I... hold up." Carlos ran off to the bleachers.l with determination in his eyes.

Carlos De Vil was desperate. He was utterly desperate. He had heard it over and over again from Jay and was sick of it. He was going to make Bella his even if it involved magic. No, he wasn't a bad kid but after dealing with rejection for so long he wanted to feel love. He had felt something he had never felt before with Bella. Acceptance, Bella had accepted him for him but he thought she would never see him as much more. He had to do something about it and resorted to his next best idea.

"Excuse me, pardon me," He slithered his way through the crowd until he finally got to Mal who was still being serenaded, "Mal, do you have any more cookies?"

Mal looked down at him in confusion, "Why would you need the cookies for, Carlos?"

"Umm, because, I thought that maybe instead of having just one person up in the front for coronation we could have two. You know double the support in case something goes wrong?" It had come out as more of a question, but Mal didn't notice. Instead, she gave him an evil grin.

"I knew there was a villian in there somewhere." She handed Carlos the cookies and went back to watching Ben.

Carlos ran back to Bella who was looking at the preformance with amusement.

"Hey." Carlos said as he slung an arm around her.

"Hey, I didn't realize how much Ben liked Mal."

"Yeah, it's crazy! Anyways I made some chocolate chip cookies last night would you like to try some.

Bella looked back at Carlos, then at the bag of cookies in his hand. She shrugged and responded with a 'yeah sure'. Carlos handed her a cookie and made sure to stand right in front of her as she took a bite.

"How do they taste?" he questioned with hope in hs voice.

"Good, they're chewy, and soft, and woah." She looked up to Carlos as her pupils dilated, " Have your eyes always been this dreamy?"

Carlos smiled and jumped with excitement that it had worked. He soon regained his cool and looked back at Bella. "I guess so, how does coronation sound?" He was surprised with his sudden burst of confidence but was motivated to keep it up when Bella giggled.

"Coronation sounds great, so does a picnic."

Carlos smiled grew even more as he nodded. "Sure! How about tomorrow?"

Bella nodded with a smile on her face as she leaned in and kissed his cheek ever so slightly. "I'll see you tomorrow, bye Carlos." With that she skipped off, leaving Carlos speechless and in shock.

He was knocked out of his trance by the one and only Jay.

"Dude what the heck," Jay looked at Bella skipping happily into Auradon prep, maybe she is into you after all."
