Hope you enjoy this...decent...story! I'm still trying to improve so tell me some things that I could improve on!

It has been three years since Qrow got his soul mark, and too say the least the feeling was wonderful. When the people that actually had strong bonds to their soulmate they can actually feel their emotions, crazy huh. For me my soulmate was mostly calm and if I felt another feeling it was amusement, serious, or hurt, which got him on edge. For the three years that came Qrow would always see the dark green gears floating around with dusty mist surrounding them which was strange but do you see him complaining of seeing this beautiful scenery? Nope. Yet for some reason when they got near a person they would instantly go away, as if to reject them or demanded them dirty, as Qrow thought in his head. It would actually help him a lot in fights or enemies and telling if there good or bad people. For good people they would simple shatter and for bad people it would wither, strange, and it took awhile to figure out but very affective. When Qrow told this to his twin she was surprised, she said that it never happened to her. Qrow asked a couple of his clans 'family' members that were older and they said that they didn't either.

Then the clan leader caught wind of this.

The clan leader ordered well more like demands Qrow to get stronger because it would seem that his soulmate was a lot more stronger than him or anyone in the clan. Qrow didn't really care about his soulmates power but the clans leaders 'ordered' him to get stronger. The clan leaders knew Qrow's soulmate wasn't part of the clan since they were the only ones in the clan to have their thirteen birthday that day. So in simpler terms qrows clan leader wanted to 'use' his soulmates love towards him for 'better use'. Qrow was of course horrified and sickened at that but many elders agreed to the plan.

With that qrows 'training' had started and it was something a fourteen years old should never go through. It was brutal and painful for him to do, He's amazed that he's actually still alive. He was not very happy when he felt his soulmates emotion come threw him when he got tortured from his clans mate for training. He tried to calm his soulmates emotions but it was now tense and beyond worried for him. No one ever cares so much about him as much except for his dad, but that was a long long time ago. In return for caring for him, a monster, he sent love towards the extremely strong connection they had actually made when time passed. In return he got an uncertain emotion of care, it would seem his soulmate was not very good with emotions. That was okay, he can teach his soulmate all about them when they met. Raven also didn't need to know what Qrow had to go through and his apparently really strong connection towards his soulmate but she wanted to train with him.

Qrow instantly rejected the idea right away from her.

Qrow did not want his younger sibling to go through what he had to go threw. Qrow and raven of course fought because of this and it strained their relationship but not so much. Qrow instantly forgave her because their dear 'mother' brainwashed her into thinking the only way to survive is to get stronger. There father was weak and not part of the clan, he was the most nicest person qrow had ever met and he was very much great full for getting a kind and loving father. Qrow was more closer to his dad then his 'mother' had ever been. Qrow still has no clue as to what his dad saw in that power lust women. There clan was a bit 'nicer' to them when they were younger but when the years pasted they started to raise them more cold hearted. Of course his dad was able to stop their influence on qrow but it was too late for his twin. There 'mother' had already gotten to her since his twin was more closer to her than qrow was. The more qrow realize this the more he saw that he wasn't really a 'son' to this women. Really all qrow saw her as when he was younger was really simple and childish but really what kid wouldn't?
