Am I dreaming or what?
Am I ready to face Luis and tell him that he have Nixia?
Ito na ba ang matagal na panahon kong hinihintay? Sa susunod na magtanong kaya ang anak kong si Nixia tungkol sa kung sino ang tatay niya ay may maipapakilala na ako?
Halos dalawang taon na rin ng una siyang magtanong sa kung sino ang kanyang ama. Naalala ko pa na imbis Mama o Mommy o Nanay ang una niyang matutunan na sabihin ay Didi ang narinig ko. Aaminin ko na matapos ko siyang maipanganak ay iyon ang unang beses na kinabahan ako.
Wala akong ibang nagawa kung hindi ang umiyak ng tahimik. Wala akong maihaharap na ama sa kanya dahil sa mga panahon na yun ay walang nakakaalam kung sino nga ba siya.
Paano ko sisimulang sabihin na may nabuong Nixia noong gabi na iyon.
Isa pa ang walang hiyang si Trevor. Pinaglaruan niya ako at pina ikot.

We happened to bump into each other at a movie theater three days after ng may mangyari samin ni Luis. When we first noticed each other, we didn’t quite know if we should say hello or not; if Trevor was here maybe Luis too.
Binalikan na ba niya ako?
“Hey,” he said at sabay ngiti sakin.
“Hi." I replied with a smile too.
“So...waiting for someone?” dagdag pa niya.
“Yeah, si Eun." I replied, “and you?” tuloy ko pa.
“Just alone."
"You're not with Luis?"
Umiling lang siya at doon nawala ang mga ngiti ko.
“Umm...okay then, see you. I'll just wait for Eun at the entrance.”
“Okay, sure,” he said and we bid good bye.
Napaka stupid ko talaga. Sinabihan na nga ako ni Eun na playboy ang pinsan niya, pinaabot ko pa sa pagkakataong may nangyari samin.
Hang tanga mo Dannica.

I'm waiting for Eun for almost half an hour when I got a call. She said she wouldn’t be able to pull through. I had no choice but to watch the movie alone. I hate her for making me wait for nothing.
As I was walking back, I saw Trevor in the snack bar browsing in his laptop.
Bright idea came up to my mind, hoping that he could join me to watch the movie.
“Hey,” sabi ko pagdating ko sa table niya.
“Oh. The movie was about to start why you're still here outside? Where's Eun?"
"She's not coming. Ahm. I have two tickets in hand. Mind if you join me?"

I had a good time with Trevor. I forgotten about Eun and her cousin Luis. There's no awkward feeling toward us. Bakit ng ba magkakaroon? Wala naman nakakaalam na may nangyari samin ng bestfriend niyang si Luis.
He offered to drive me home after the movie, and I agreed.
I turned on his stereo para hindi naman kami masyadong kainin ng katahimikan.

"Bakit wala si Luis?" tanong ko. I really need to know. I was left hanging there.

"Busy sa cheeks sa Manila. Why?" kumulo ang dugo ko sa narinig kong sagot.

"Ah. Wala lang." kahit nagkukumagalit ako dahil sa walanghiya niyang bestfriend, I need to control my temper. Ayoko na may mahalata siya.
I just asked him ramdom things just to forget our conversation about Luis earlier.
I even told him about the Monteclaros.

He's a bit shocked about what I just confess to him. About Monteclaro thingy. Sino nga naman ang bigla na lang magagalit sa isang pamilya na ni minsan hindi mo pa nakikita? When I searched their names sa net ay marami ang lumalabas na result. Kaya I had no idea kung ano at sino nga ba talaga ang mga Monteclaro.
"Ginawa mo akong madaldal" he said once we reached our house,
I couldn’t help but smile. “Duh. Bakit ako?"
"Whatever My Boo."
"You're Boo? Tsk. LSS ka na ba sa song na yun?"
"Sort of. ♪ I know we haven't seen each other
In awhile but you will always be my boo.♪" and he winks.
"Eeew. Boo. You're out of tune." sabay tawa sa kanya.
"Are you free tomorrow?" bigla niyang tanong sakin.
"Yup. Why? You'll gonna ask me to have a date? Hmmmmmn?" pilya kong tanong sa kanya.
"Yeah." nabigla ako sa sagot niya.
At doon na nagsimula ang romantic relationship namin ni Trevor.
But it doesn't last long.

"Dannie, you okay?"
I just nod to Eun para hindi siya maghinala.
Nixia is her niece.
"We're heading to the dance floor. Want to join us?"
"Nah. I'll just stay over here." sagot ko sa kanya.
I really don't know how to tell everyone that I knew everything.
That I remembered every single moment happened five years ago..
