*Annabeth POV*

Percy and I had just finished a sword fighting class and were working around camp hand in hand.

"Wise girl"

"Mmm"

"Wanna go on a date tonight at the beach?"

"Sure! Why not?"

"Cool! I will pick you up at your cabin just before dinner!"

**Magical Time Skip**

Piper and Hazel had helped me pick out my flowery skirt and grey top for the date

"Beautiful Annabeth!" Piper squeled when I walked out of the bathroom in the Athena cabin

"Thanks Pipes! He should be here soon"
And just on time there was a knock on the door. Piper jumped up and ran to the door

"Hey Pipes! Annabeth ready?"

"Yes she is, but I need to have a talk with you"

Percy looked worried

"What have I done? Did I forget something?"

"Nothing yet, no. Bring her back by 10pm, no funny business. She has Ancient Greek classes she is running tomorrow"

Hazel giggled and I just rolled my eyes

"Yes ma'm!"

"Good, not too much fun you two!"

Percy took my hand and we walked to the beach. When we got there he had set up a blanket with a picnic basket with blue food.

"Very romantic Seaweed brain"

"Anything for my beautiful wise girl"

We sat and ate, talked, laughed and okay, maybe kissed a little... maybe a lot

"Come on, lets go for a walk then go back so Piper doesn't kill me!"

I got up and Percy took my hand leading me down closer to the water. As we were walking I watch Percy flick his hand at the water, a wave come crashing down just ahead of us and left

'I love you' written in the sand

"Aww, love yo-" I was cut of by a bigger wave crashing down on top of the sand leaving

'I love you too son'

I burst into a fit of laughter and Percy's face turned a bright red

"DAAAAAD!" He screamed out to the water, no doubt where Poseidon was spying on us
"YOUR EMBARRASSING ME!"
I couldn't stop laughing. Just then another wave crashed onto the writing

'Oh, I'm sorry son'

At this I was nearly dying

"Thanks dad" Percy muttered before picking me up bridal style and walking back to our picnic

"I love your dad" I said in between laughs

"Ha-ha Annabeth"
