I can totally see this happening:
Percy comes back to camp for the summer and Mr D sees him so he's like
"Come to ruin my summer again Percy Jackson?"
Percy notices that he called him Percy Jackson, the right name. So being the sassy Persassy he is he goes
"Actually it's Peter Johnson"
So Mr D just points to him, opens his mouth then closes it.
"Whatever Perry"

Imagine if the gods weren't having problems with their Greek and roman god sides so when Percy goes missing Mr D is like
"Where's Perry?"
And when he comes back
"There you are Perry"
