"You ever think about us getting married?" Markus asked as we lay the the bathtub in our bathroom
"Married? What brings that up?" I asked
"It's just the whole Jakob and Mia thing getting to me again, I hope things don't go bad for them" He said wrapping his arms around me tighter
Ever since the death of their child, Mia and Jakob's relationship has been kind of bumpy. Because basically their whole marriage was based on this baby, him not surviving has been reflecting on them.
Not that they have been fighting or anything drastic, but they haven't been communicating. I understand it's a difficult situation for them to be in, but right now they both need each other the most. Seeing them go through this was giving Markus less hope for us and I could understand why. They've been together for a good five years, and just this incident may end them.

"to be honest, no. I haven't really thought of our relationship ever getting that far, at least not now. I'm only twenty two, marriage aint on my agenda anytime soon" I honestly spoke
"really, you don't want to spend the rest of your life with me?" He asked
"it's not that I don't want to. You know I love you, and you and Storm's relationship is growing too. I just don't want to rush into anything, we have our whole lives ahead of us. Plus every decision I decide to make affects Storm too, if we get married then soon divorce it becomes an issue with her dealing with both of us as fathers. Let's not rush this, we're still young"
