'Quick quick quick!' You thought to yourself. You ran along the streets of Kaldanai, clutching your most valuable loot ever, the Chief's USB drive. This was worth thousands, if not, millions on the Black Market. This was your chance to pay off debts, upgrade your gear and have a week full of fun all at the same time. It was your dream come true and you weren't going to let this dream slip away that easily.

"Ah!" Lance sighed, stretching his arms up. He walked out of the castle with his casual clothes on. "I've needed this break for a long time!"

"Lance, you've been on a break for the past week, we need another mission" Pidge groaned.

"A week of relaxation is not enough Pidge" Lance said with a pompous voice. "It takes months, even years to perfect the art of laziness" He said.

"Although some people with no brains pick it up a lot more easily than others" Pidge muttered.

"Hey I heard that!" Lance humphed.

"Knock it off you two, we're here for another reason besides winding down. The princess says that the Chief here owns some files about the Galra. She said that is should be in some kind of USB drive. Hopefully, we'll get it and go on another mission" Shiro said.

"Good, cause I don't like the look of the town that we're going to enter" Keith said.

You glanced behind you and saw several guards hot on your tail. They wore purple garments that represented their high rank. Their faces were covered by a square cloth leaving only their eyes exposed. They looked like monks with an Asian top hat and mask while holding pikes. And you couldn't take these guys seriously.

You leapt over boxes, swerved around poles and climbed the stone walls of Kaldanai. This city was one of the wealthiest. This meant that this place was equally populated by merchants, street rats, robbers and aristocrats. You were one of those robbers, pickpocket or scavenger was the term you preferred.

You led the guards to what they would think is a dead end. You smirked as you stopped at the ally and sneakily pulled out a wrapped ball into your hand. "We've got you now you little rat!" One of the guards shouted.

"Not today you won't" You grinned. You threw your smoke bomb onto the ground and scaled the wall out of the guard's reach. The men behind you chocked and gagged as you left them in the dust. "Ha! Guess those masks are only to hide your identity, not filter out any smoke" You laughed.

But when your head was turned, you didn't see the guard in front of you. You ran straight into the iron grip of his arms. "Hey!" You exclaimed, squirming around in his cage of arms. "Let me go!"

"You're not going to get away this time thief!" The guard growled.

"Hey, I'm a scavenger not a thief" You protested.

"You stole something that was in another's possession that this stealing. Scavenging is taking something no one wants" The guard corrected.

"Hey, you're pretty smart for a guy who's all muscle and no brain" You remarked. You received a punch across the face, "Arg!"

"You better keep that mouth shut if you want to live with it" The guard warned.

"As if you want me alive, don't you want to kill me for the thousands of things I stole?" I taunted. The guard punched you in the stomach.
