As Thorin left to catch up with our children, I made my way through the gardens to find the hobbit out on the balcony, looking out into the distance in awe.

"Hello." I greeted.

The hobbit turned around, startled. "Ah, hello. I-I didn't see you there."

"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you."

"You just startled me, that's all." He assured me. He then narrowed his eyes as he studied me. "I feel like I've seen you before."

"I get the same feeling from you. Tell me what is your name?" I asked.

"Bilbo, Bilbo Baggins."

I chuckled. "Ah, of course. Son of Bungo and Belladonna Baggins. I remember you."

"You do?"

I nodded. "I would visit the Shire multiple times every year or so. I often bumped into Gandalf, and I remember you hitting us with a wooden sword."

His eyes widened. "I remember now! You're the elf who played with me. Líreth?"

"I'm happy you still remember me. Forgive me for not returning to the Shire for a while." I replied. "I've been distracted..."

"It's quite alright, you should visit once I return to the Shire." Bilbo mentioned. "If I return..."

So they're going to do it. They're going to reclaim Erebor and that's why they've come along this path.

"I'll take your word, but tell me what's a hobbit doing out here? I've never seen a hobbit travel this far east?" I asked, curiously.

"Well...I thought I'd be up for an adventure, and besides Gandalf said that they needed a burglar."

"A burglar? Whatever for, Bilbo?"

Bilbo then explained to me everything, and although it sounded like it could work...it could also backfire on them.

"I wish you the best of luck, Bilbo. Although I wished they would kill the dragon instead, but that isn't easy to do." I commented.

"Thank you, Líreth. I appreciate that."

I smiled. "You are very welcome, Bilbo."

After a while of talking to him, I left him alone to enjoy the scenery. Bilbo had told me much of his past and I told him mine, he was fascinated about my days in the First Age, but was surprised to discover that my husband is Thorin.

As the days went by, Thorin had finally caught up with Thingol and Gilornel, and they all finally got along. Together we were all one happy family.

I was in my chambers, which I currently shared with Thorin now, however he still wasn't back, so I decided to look for him. I slipped on an evening gown and made my way through the halls to hear voices in the library.

"Our business is no concern of elves." Thorin retorted. "Well certain elves are allowed."

"For goodness sake. Thorin, show him the map!" Gandalf demanded.
