Last night tumblr recommended a shidge blog to me and I made this face for a solid 30 minutes

But anyway I made a new species

They're called lumanders and they belong in the universe of Ember and Stitch and co.

I'm just gonna repeat everything on that paper in case u can't read my shitty handwriting lmao

They don't have organs or bones, just three layers of like, slime

The first layer is just a layer that gives shape and provides protection to the insides. It's a bit harder than scaly skin and about half an inch thick. It's just like,, tough leather or smth

Then there's the outer core, below the first layer, which is a few shades darker than the first layer. It has a same texture as some slime that u accidentally left out overnight and now it's kinda hard and not fun to play with.

The final layer is the inner core, which can basically be any color as long as it's not grayscale. Typically it's also super saturated and it kinda glows too. There are no multi-colored inner cores.

It kinda has the texture of the slime that u make when you add water to cornstarch. If you want to kill a lumander, the key is to cut to the inner core and damage the center of the chest.

Lumanders usually have 1-6 eyes and 4-8 limbs, excluding their tails, which they only have one of. The ends of their limbs are bioluminescent and glow in the color of the inner core. They also have large ears and small horns. They don't have any pupils in their eyes, and they have sharp teeth. They also have freckles, typically on the cheeks, back, and joints, in the same color as the inner core.

Basically, if something is the same color as the inner core it glows ((if u can't tell I love bioluminescence))

The first layer of skin usually comes in black, white, or some shade of grey. Grayskins are the most common and form the lower class in their social castes. Blackskins are less common than grayskins and form the middle class. Whiteskins are the rarest and form the upper class.

Their arms are long enough so that they can walk on four legs, but they usually don't unless it's for climbing or playing or fighting.

Lumanders are omnivores but they usually eat meat. The food gets broken down into nutrients by the inner core and then absorbed and converted into energy.

All lumanders are intersex and gender is just like a social thing for them so it doesn't really matter who they reproduce with.
