"Uhh... Jeonghan... the door is locked."
He did not respond.
"I... I'll just stay here at the corner... if you're still uncomfortable... just think I am invisible."
Damn this is awkward. Damn those kids. I'll make sure they'd get their punishments.
I faced the wall mentally drawing lines to kill boredom (and awkwardness). I'll probably give those lines to China line. I know, I'm a thoughtful leader, thank you.
Soft mini yet audible hiccups echo in the room. I was scrambling, looking for water, but the room doesn't have any. Great. Jeonghan would probably die dehydrated from crying.
"Are you fine now?"
Although my back faced him, I could feel him shuffling across the bed.
"Cheol-ah." Jeonghan's voice was soft though it was evident that he had been crying.
I turned so I could face him. He tapped the side of the bed beside him gesturing me to plop next to him.
I stood and obliged. We have a long night for a talk.
