Mr. Antidote

"Have you ever met this guy before?" Cloud asks while walking alongside Luna at the same pace. Luna shrugs "Hm.. Nope. I never even heard of him." They stop at the edge of a river, where the cottage was over at the other side.

"That should be it," Luna says. "Maybe I can carry you across-" Just before Luna suggested it, Cloud created a transparent bridge across the water over to the other side. "Or.. That could work as well.." Luna carefully walked across, with Cloud following behind her.

She felt herself tip, until Cloud held her hand before she could do so. Luna regained balance and stared down at Cloud's hand, which was intertwined with hers.

   "It's fine." Cloud said, not seeming like he cared about holding hands with her. Luna blushed and continued walking across, Cloud's hand intertwined with hers.

They finally make it across and Luna let's go of his hand. "Alright, we made it across," She goes up to the cottage door and knocks. "That bridge was very useful, thanks Cloud." "You're welcome." The bridge suddenly disappears.

   A grumpy man opens up the door and looks down at Cloud and Luna, standing side by side. "... What do you kids want?" He asks in a low tone voice.

"Um.. Well you see.." Luna pulls out the serum and hands it to him "We want to ask you questions about this-"

   Without hesitation, the man grabs Luna and Cloud and pulls them inside. He closes the door behind them and looks at them surprised. "How did you get your hands on this..?"

   "We defeated a creature, and we found that in a bag." Cloud answers. The man crosses his arms. "Hmph, I see.. So you two want to know about corrupted monsters and everything, huh?"

   Luna nods "Yes sir, we heard you could answer some of our questions and understand this better." "Yeah,"

"Hm alright. So what do you already know?" "Well, I know that elements can become corrupted, physically and now emotionally." "Is that so..?" The man narrows his eyes.
"Yup.." Cloud sighs.

"Also, it's not a good feeling, to both creatures and elements. One of the most common feelings is feeling scared. You barely have any control." "That's right.." Cloud embraces himself, remembering that moment.

   "Did you.. test this on an element?" The man asks. Luna puts her hand on Cloud's shoulder. "Yeah.."

"Hm.. Boy, how are you feeling currently?" Cloud looks down. "Still a little tired and a bit unnerved.."

   The grumpy man takes out a golden liquid from his cabinet and pours it in a small cup. "Elements can be cured from corruption, by being healed from an element who has healing powers, or some kind of healing supplement," He hands the cup to Cloud. "However, it's not enough to get rid of the weird feeling inside after that. This stuff not only cures an element from corruption, but gets rid of the after feeling.."

"Huh, interesting.." Cloud stares at the golden liquid in the cup.
"You should drink that, if you want to get rid of that weird feeling."

"Question for you: what are the black dots in the serum..?" Luna asks. The man takes out a book and flips through the pages. "It's from a specific flower.."

   Cloud reluctantly drinks the golden liquid. "Flower?" "Yup." He shows them a picture of a purple flower with black speckles on it. "This is the thing that mainly causes the corruption. The purple color of the flower is what makes the serum purple. But the black speckles are what makes you go insane, turning you corrupted. It has to do with the genes of the plant, from what it says.."

Luna tilts her head to the side. "Is there anything else besides the flower that make up the serum?"

"There's this clear liquid gooey substance that comes from a certain monster. They don't fight anyone. However, if you touch it, you could get poisoned. When the substance is mixed with the speckled flower.. It can turn anything, living or not, into a monster. It especially is harmful to elements and regular creatures." Cloud taps his chin. "Do you think someone is behind this?"

"There's a man I worked with a long long time ago. He was into science, conducting experiments and learning about the living. He.. Found this universe and something had gone wrong with him. He started.. injecting harmless creatures with this stuff, turning them into beasts. I quit my job working with him and instead did the opposite: create an antidote. And so I did. I don't know what is objection is towards elements though. And I had just recently found out that he's been injecting elements with this stuff. Also.. I found out about that one Dark angel.."

   "Dark Blitz..?" Luna questions, a bit confused. "Yes.. She doesn't need the antidote since the corruption was caused by emotions.." The man explained. "So that explains it. I had a feeling there was someone behind all of this,"

She looks up at the man. ".. Do you know where this guy is located..?"

"Yes.. He lives in a transparent laboratory. It's huge. However, nobody isn't able to catch him so easily since he always is constantly moving the location. And it can turn completely invisible.." He answers. Luna's eyes widen "What?"

"Yeah, he's good with technology and getting away easily." "Dang.." Luna says. "Is there a way we could find him? Or at least slow him down..?" Cloud asks. The man shakes his head. "Nope, not that I know of," He looks at both Luna and Cloud. "Who told you about me, anyways?"

"Sylvie did, sir.." Luna answers. The man chuckles. "Ah that little witch, talking about me! I'm quite flattered, heheh," He gives them both a bottle of the antidote. "My name's Mr. Antidote by the way, sorry I didn't introduce myself in the beginning!" "Oh no, it's quite alright sir." Luna says. "I'm Luna and this is my friend, Cloud."

Cloud gave Mr. Antidote a kind smile. "Yes, it's a pleasure to meet you." "Well.. You kids should be on your way.." Mr. Antidote gently guides them out the door. "And please, do come visit anytime. Anyone who's friends with Sylvie is a friend of mine."

"Thanks, and we will." Cloud responds. "Yes, take care, Mr. Antidote..!" Luna waves. And then the two started walking away from the cottage.

   "... So.." Cloud starts up a conversation, stretching in the process. "Do you wanna hang out and just.. Talk..?" Luna looks at Cloud with a beam of delight spread across her face. "Shore!"

   And so, the two of them hung out for the rest of the day, getting to know each other and having a good time.
