Sang Sorenson knows how to astral project. When she was a little girl, she went to school with a group of boys and found them interesting. She began spending her days watching them through her astral projections, as they grew older, met more friends, and joined the Academy. She was there when they became the Blackbourne team and became a family. She was there through all their struggles and all their celebrations. Watching them was her escape from her mother's punishments.
One day, her mother goes too far and Sang falls into a coma from the head injury. Because of her ability to astral project, her 'image' becomes stronger and the boys are able to see her. Now it's the boys' turn to learn about who Sang is/was. She allows them to believe she's simply a ghost but they slowly piece together what really happened to her and work to help her.
