He leads us back across the Pit and into a gaping hole in the wall. The cafeteria. I put one foot through the hole, and start to hear clapping and whooping coming from the large room. I look around and see Dauntless giving us a standing ovation. I smile, I've never gotten this much attention.

Ace and I try to find a place to sit but the only place is by Four. I sit beside him and Ace, I notice Ace get tense when we sit down, was he afraid of Four? A platter of hamburgers sit in front of us.

I gasp, "I haven't had these in forever!"

"How long?" Ace laughs.

"A couple years." my smile disappears.

"Why so long?" Ace frowns.

"My parents." I huff. "They never let me do anything, all my life I was stuck studying in my room."

"Oh, wow." Ace takes a deep breath.

"I know. It got worse after my brother left." I say.

"Who's your brother?" Ace asks.

"I'd rather not say." I whisper.

"Oh, come on you can trust me." Ace smiles.

"She said she doesn't want to tell you, so back off." Four growls.

"I can protect myself." I say.

Four continues to eat and rolls his eyes.

"That's not? You're not?" Ace says quietly.

"No!" we say in unison.

"Okay! Okay!" Ace laughs. "You can tell me when you're ready."

"Thanks." I smile.

Then Eric walks in, scowling at everyone who stares at him, except me. He starts to walk towards us, me. My heart starts to pound, I want to hug him, I haven't seen him in two years.

"Initiate." he barks. "Come with me."

I hide my smile and follow Eric out into the hallway. When we finally reach where no one can see us I give him a hug.

"Oh, my, god! I missed you so much!" I laugh as he hugs me back.

"Me too!" he smiles.

"There's the old Eric I know!" I laugh.

"Why?" he frowns. "Why here?"

"I told you before." I say. "Where you go, I go."

"God, I missed you!" he smiles, I pull him down and ruffle his hair.

"You've changed so much." I say.

"I know, two years can change a lot of things." he smiles.

"You need to cut your hair." I frown.

"I am, I am." he complains.

I pull his long hair.

"Come on, before someone suspects something." he says, putting his hands on my shoulder and steering me back to the cafeteria.

"What should I tell them?" I say.

"I don't really care if people know you're my sister." he says shrugging.

"Because I'm the best." I batter my eyelashes up to him and smile.

"Sure, whatever you say." he rolls his eyes.

I nudge him, and he stumbles to the side.

"You are still the same, always off guard." I giggle.

"I wasn't ready!" he says.

"No, you weren't." I smile. "Are you ready for-"

I try to run into him, but moves away and I end up hitting my head on the wall.

"Are you okay?" he says, running over to me.

I rub my head, black dots obscuring my vision.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I say. "My head hurts a bit."

Finally we reach the cafeteria, and I sit back down by Four.

"Rose! What happened?" Four gasps.

"Nothing." I say.

"Why are you bleeding?" he says, touching the side of my head. It stings.

"Ow!" I say slapping his hand away.

"We need to get you to the infirmary." Four suggests.

"No, I'm fine." I rage.

"Yes, we're going." Four nearly shouts.

Everyone looks over to us. "Fine."
