Liam: "Babe, why do you look so upset?" Liam asks, noticing your distraught expression. "Huh? Oh, um," you look at him sadly and bite your lip. How are you supposed to tell him you lost the very expensive silver "To infinity" bracelet, especially since he had the "& beyond" and it couldn't be easily replaced. "(Y/N)," he says seriously, putting his hand over yours. "What's wrong?" You sigh, shaking your head. "I lost my necklace," you confess. "I just took it off to go in the shower and then it was gone and, and.." You feel your eyes well with tears. How could you lose something that meant so much? And probably cost a ton of money? "Hey, don't cry!" he says quickly, wiping a tear that had fallen down your cheek. "I'll buy you a new one, it's fine," he assures you. "No! I can't ask you to do that. It probably cost so much money..." you sniff. "The money doesn't matter," he sighs, shaking his head. "But--" you begin. "No buts, I'm buying you a new one, but this time just try not to lose it, okay?" he says firmly, wrapping you in a hug. "Okay."

Zayn: "Babe, what are you looking for?" Zayn questions, just as you lift up a couch cushion, looking for your earring. "Um, my contact lens?" you offer lamely, putting the cushion back down. "What? You don't wear contact lenses..." Zayn replies, looking at you with confusion. Oh. "I mean, I'm looking for..um..." you think for an explanation, not wanting to admit you'd lost one of the diamond earrings he'd gotten you for Christmas. "You're looking for the other earring?" he offers, pointing towards your ear where the usually-present stud is absent. "Yeah," you sigh, leaning to look under the sofa. "I don't know where it could be...I've been looking everywhere..." He helps you look for a few moments, but it's clear that it isn't anywhere to be found. "I'm sorry, Zayn, I really loved those earrings, I know they were expensive," you say quietly, plopping down on the couch. "Hey, it's fine. It's just an earring," he shrugs it off. "Don't work yourself up about it, it's fine." You open your mouth to protest but he shakes his head. "It's fine."

Louis: "Something seems off about you today," Louis comments, his eyes darting across you from head to toe. "Uh? New shoes?" you offer, hoping he doesn't realize the promise ring he'd gotten you was no longer on your finger. He does. He's got a good eye. "Doll, where's your ring?" he asks, raising an eyebrow. "Um. I was getting Starbucks and...one of the fans stole it..." you reply, eying your empty finger sadly. "Babe, why didn't you tell me?" he sighs, picking up your hand and kissing the spot where the ring used to be. "I didn't want you to be mad," you explain. "I'm not mad at you," he says softly, kissing your cheek. "I'm actually quite a bit mad at the fans. How could they take that? That's THEFT." You shrug, suddenly more angry than upset. "I'm going to try to figure out what fan stole it," he decides, pulling out his phone. "Lou--" you protest. "No. That ring was really special and it's fucking rude how someone would just STEAL it." And you can't help but agree, but hope the 'search' doesn't go too far.

Niall: "Hey, um, where's the bracelet I got you?" Niall frowns at your wrist, noticing the delicate silver chain with a key (the key to his heart, cute right?) is missing. "Fuck!" you shout, looking around on the couch to see if it'd maybe fallen off. "I don't know..." Niall looks upset as he helps you look around. "God, it could've been missing for DAYS," you sigh, tossing your hands up in defeat. "Now it's gone." You blink back tears. How could you have lost the bracelet? It was the bracelet he gave you when he told you he loved you the firs time. "Hey, don't get upset. It's just a piece of metal," he says softly, but you can tell he's slightly upset as well. "No it's not! It was the bracelet you gave me when you told me you loved me the first time," you explain, a tear falling down your cheek. "I've told you 'I love you' a million times since then," he protests. "It's just a bracelet, don't worry about it." You look at him and shake your head. Maybe he'd get over it, but you felt just awful. "It'll turn up," he assures you, after seeing his previous convincing had failed to calm you down. "I hope."

Harry: "Kitten! C'mere! Show Liam the necklace I got you! Liam wants to see so he can maybe get one like it for Danielle," Harry motions for you to come over to where he and Liam are engaged in a conversation. "Uh," you walk over, not meeting his gaze. "It's got a heart with our names carved in the back and--" Harry explains, looking at your neck to show the brown-eyed boy, but there's nothing there. "Um, I kind of don't have it?" you offer, looking up at him through your eyelashes. "What do you mean you don't have it?" he asks, eyebrows furrowed. "I kind of lost it," you say shyly. "Lost it? How did you lose it?" he sighs, shaking his head. "Dunno. Last time I had it was last night.." Last night. Harry blushes and Liam looks at his shoes awkwardly, not wanting to get involved in the couple's little dispute. "Oh," Harry replies, wrapping his arm around your waist. "Let's go look for the necklace then, starting with the bedroom. It probably got lost in the sheets..." You nod slowly, Liam looking at the both of you uncomfortably. "Even if it's not there, don't worry about it," Harry says as you both head down the hallway to look for the missing jewelry piece.
