Red consumed my vision.
Anger flowed through my veins.
The sight in front of me was enough to make anyone sick.
Even me.
I was finally released from the hospital. My stitches were out and my wound was fully healed. I was ready to get out of that suffocating place and go back to feeling the weight of a gun and the smell of gunpowder. When I entered HQ with Levi by my side people came up to me and faked concern for me. I mentally rolled my eyes.
"What's with that look?" Levi glanced at me. I clicked my tongue and shook my head.
"These people feigning concern for me when in reality they don't give two s(tars) about me. Weren't they taught that lying is bad?" I sarcastically sigh. Levi rolled his eyes but I could see a hint of amusement in his eyes.
"Anyways, when can we start that goddamn mission to save the boy?" I asked as we walked towards our equipment that was just fixed and clean. We were currently in my "office." I don't really come here so it was bare and didn't look used. Our 3DMGs were neatly placed on my large desk with new swords that were sharpened.
"I was thinking tomorrow," Levi said. I was about to nod when I shook my head.
"Yeager has been waiting for us for too long. I suggest we go tonight." I spoke. He considered it and slowly nodded in agreement. We started to pack all of our stuff and head over to our place. We drove back and I breathed in the smell of freshly made tea and cleaning supplies once we entered.
"I'm gonna get the stuff ready-" I was about to finish until a vision came up. I could see everything go black and my ears drowned out the sounds. My eyes widen as I came to reality. Levi was snapping his fingers in front of my face.
"You okay?" His eyebrows furrowed together in confusion. I nodded quickly and pivoted towards the stairs.
"Uhm, bring the 3DMG cause I have a feeling that we'll be needing it." I slightly stumbled on my words. He looked at me oddly before reluctantly going to pack the gear into a large duffle bag. I sighed in relief when he didn't ask anything about what happened. I skipped two steps at a time up the stairs and ran into my bedroom to change out of the smelly clothes I was in.
I changed into an (f/c) shirt with a black jacket over it. I wore some black jeans so if it had to get bloody it wouldn't show as much. I lastly put on my favorite (f/c) combat boots. I looked at myself in the mirror and thought I was decent enough. I then started to put on the belts and stuff for the gear. I did it easily like second nature since it was the first thing taught to me.
I then opened my door to come straight into a toned, hard chest. I glared up at the man and rubbed my nose slightly.
"Could've knocked so I wouldn't break my nose because of you," I mumbled. He ignored me and gave me his phone.
"Erwin?" I mumble but reluctantly put the phone to my ear.
"Where are you?" Is the first thing I heard. He sounded urgent and angry.
"About to save Eren from that case from a few days ago."
"Don't go. You need to stay here." I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.
"Seriously?"
"Yes, now get back to HQ. You just got released from the hospital, I'm not going to let you get yourself in danger."
"F(aq) that! Eren is a part of my team. I'm going to save him, regardless of what you say."
"(Y/n), I command you not as your commander but as the person who took care of you for 14 years to please, stay home. Don't be stupid and listen to me." I stayed silent.
