I never slept in the dorms.

It wasn't the place itself, it was actually pretty nice. All rooms were fully furnished and had all the essentials.

It was the people.

People talked, people lied, and people made noises.

Yeah, we had those kinds of people at HQ.

I opted to get my own apartment because I wouldn't have a window to the Underground but to real sunlight. Headquarters was in the ground but most was in the Underground. The place with thugs, gangs, and criminals. It was a pretty sight though because there were always parties being held and memories being reminisced.

I was currently walking down the corridors that echoed my clanking boots. I was walking towards my first room when I first got here. I knew the place by heart even though it has been awhile and the place was practically a maze. But I knew the exact room number and place where it was. No one ever occupied that room, it was always cleaned though.

I was lost in my thoughts before I heard a giggle grace my ears. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion and I walked a little quicker down the hall to the corner. I leaned against the wall and peeked over to see Petra...

And Levi.

I didn't know what it was. But a feeling blossomed in my core. It wasn't the butterflies or the happiness. This one was a darker feeling.

Jealousy.

I narrowed my (e/c) eyes at them and watched their movements. Levi was leaning against the wall, hands in his pockets. Petra leaned against him and nuzzled into his neck. She looked happy...while he looked angry. He was glaring at the floor but made no movement to push Petra off him.

My heartbeat got faster. What do I do? Pull her off him? Leave them be?

'It's none of your business about what he does or who he...dates. Leave them be and you'll be fine.'

I sighed and mentally agreed with my thoughts. Hesitantly, I pushed off the wall and walked the opposite direction of where they were. But something broke inside me and I couldn't tell what it was.

I was walking until someone pulled me over to an empty room. I assumed it was theirs since it had some of their clothes and belongings.

"I like you."

I blinked at the male in front of me.

"I'm sorry, what?"

"I like you...a lot (y/n). The moment I first saw you, I knew you were the strong, mature girl I want in my life. So here I am. To tell you my feelings and hope you feel the same way." Eren confessed.

"Eren...the age gap-"

"F(udge) the age gap! It's just a number here in America. So please, tell me what you feel..." I stared at him in shock, my mouth agape.

"But I'm 24-almost 25 and you're 18!" I tried to reason but he shook his head.

"I don't care. I like you and I'm being a man here by telling you." Eren said and looked at me with determination and hope in his eyes.

"I-I don't know what to say..." I trailed off. I was flattered but I only saw him as a family member or teammate.

"Don't worry, I'll give you time to think about this. Try to give me your answer in three days." He said and walked away. I stood there in shock, trying to process the whole situation. Never...in my whole 14-15 years of my life had anyone confessed their feelings to me.

"So...you and Yeager?" I heard a voice say behind me. I whip around and saw Levi leaning against the doorway, staring intently at me.

"N-no...he just confessed to me and I didn't give him a straight answer..." I slightly stuttered.
