Ash's Return {Amourshipping} {On Hiatus Until Further Notice}

Chapter 4

This chapter is the opening ceremony. There may or may not be a surprise in this chapter. Without further ado let's start the chapter!

Ash and his pokemon were standing in the crowd waiting for the ceremony to begin.

"I guess I really did have an impact on the world even if I never realized it." Ash said to his pokemon through aura

"Welcome to the Ash Ketchum Memorial Tournament!" The announcer yelled hyping the crowd up

"Please welcome the man who made this possible. The president of the Pokemon League MR. GOODSHOW!!!"

Mr. Goodshow walked up onto the stage and stood next to the microphone. He tapped it a few times to quiet everyone down. Once everyone was quiet he began to speak

"This tournament is in honor of a legend, a trainer who saved the world countless times and created a new form of evolution still not fully understood today. If he was here he would probably be asking why we would put so much effort into this in honor of him. Ash never saw anyone as a stranger, always a friend. While I may not have known him personally I know he touched the hearts of many throughout his travels. I could see the connection he had with his pokemon just by watching him battle. He was lost far too soon and he never realized his one true goal. To become a Pokemon Master so in honor of that the winner of this tournament will be crowned the world's first pokemon master." Mr. Goodshow said into the microphone in a somber tone

The crowd remained quiet reminiscing on the speech, while a certain group of people were tearing up thinking about how much they miss the person in question

"I know he wouldn't want us to be sad for long, so I have decided we will have an exhibition match against one of the champions. The challenger and the champion they will be facing will be completely randomized."

As this was being said the scoreboard behind him starting to randomize trainers on one side and the champions on the other. The trainer side of the scoreboard stopped on a picture of Ash with his hoodie on. At the same time the champion side of the scoreboard stopped on Diantha.

"It seems this exhibition match will be between Kaito(Ash) and Kalos Champion Diantha" Mr. Goodshow remarked

The crowd started to murmur about who this Kaito guy is and why he is wearing a hood. Ash slowly started walking up to the stage with his pokemon beside him. When he reached the stage he walked over to Diantha and said

"I hope this battle will be fun." He said simply, his voice modified by his aura

"I hope so too. You better not bore me." Diantha said in a playful tone

"I won't, I promise you that." Ash replied

"This will be a 1v1 pokemon battle. The battle will be over when either sides Pokemon is unable to continue. Trainers release your pokemon." The referee said standing on the sidelines of the battlefield

"Gardevoir!" Diantha said throwing her ace pokemon's pokeball into the air

"Greninja I choose you!" Ash exclaimed pointing forwards

Greninja jumped forwards onto the battlefield and crossed it's arms

"Greninja vs. Gardevoir, Begin!"
