*THIRD POV*

Persephone walked across the street and knocked on the door of the McCall's.

She waited awkwardly before an obviously sleep Scott opened.

"Hey sorry to bother, but Melissa said I could ask her if I needed anything. I don't mean to intrude but I need a ride to school. My car and Bike hasn't arrived yet." She said with a fake sweet smile.

Scott just watched her because he sensed something was off, but replied.

"Yes, but my mom already left for work. I have a dirt bike, if that's okay." He said sleep still lacing his words.

"Um yea that's fine, I'll just go back home and see if I have my helmet."

"Um I could let you borrow mine, but you can do whatever you like." He said while shielding his eyes from the sun.

Persephone was walking back home.

"Aye it's still a bit early so if you haven't had breakfast I can make something." Scott yelled to her.

"Sure that'd be great." Persephone yelled before entering her house once again.

"What a weird girl." Scott huffed to himself before heading to his room to get ready and make breakfast.

*PERSEPHONE'S POV*

"Did I bring my helmet." I said outloud.

I searched the unopened boxes.

Please I brought it.

I was about to give up but I finally found it under one of the blankets.

"Yes I don't have to look like a fool when I walk back over." I said in triumph.

Scott seemed like he was just observing me. Well if he smells me, then it's only fair since I already know what he is.

I knock on his door and he instantly opens.

"Wow that was quick. Were you just waiting here for me to come back." I teased him.

"No I was just about to go look for you since it's already 7:10 and breakfast is going to get cold." He snapped.

"Aw a little defensive. Cute." I teased him again as I entered his home.

"It's nice in here, and it smells nice. What did you make?"

"I made ends and bacon. Hope you're not a picky eater." He said while leading me to the kitchen.

I sat down and he served me my plate.

We ate in silence before he spoke up.

"So why did you wake up so early?"

"Well I couldn't sleep much."

"Oh, by the way i went to get you for dinner but you didn't open the door."

"I know I was in bed already. I didn't feel like getting up."

"That may explain why you didn't sleep well, you went to bed too early." He said with a slight chuckle.

He doesn't seem so bad, not like the lycans I know. He also looks different from them. He's not entirely a man beast.

"Yeah." I sheepishly say knowing that I just lied to him.

"We should get going. You could put the plate in the sink. I'll wash it when I get back." He says while getting up and heading to what I assume is where his bike is at.

I put the plate away and wait for him outside.

I hear a car approach his house. I turn to look and see a blue jeep.

"Yo, what are you doing in front of Scott's house?" The guy inside says.

A friend maybe?

"He's giving me a ride to school. I'm new by the way. I just arrived yesterday." I replied to him.

I hear Scott make his way over to me on his bike.

"Cool, well that explains the helmet. What's your name?" The guy in the Jeep says.

"It's Persephone Night. It's nice to meet you." I reply. I notice his eyes go wide for a second.

"Aren't you going to introduce yourself?" Scott says from behind me.

"Yea, I'm Stiles. And Scott I thought i was going to pick you up today." Stiles' replied, but turned his attention to Scott.

"I forgot I'll meet you at school." He simply replied, while signaling me to get on his bike.

"Fine!" Stiles shouted as he drove by.

"Well hold on tight. Hopefully we make it on time." He said as we drove to school.

The drive was silent as we neared the school.

"I've never been to one." I said my thought aloud.

"A what?" Scott replied to my question.

"A school." I said as i took in the building.

"Well you're going to hate it. I'll take you to the office so someone can help you out." He said as we walk towards the building.

Stiles walked over to us.

"So what grade are you in?" Stiles asked me.

"I'm a junior."

"Oh cool we're seniors. Where did you move from?"

"Greece." I answered him indifferently as Scott left me in the office.

I went to the counter and explained I was new.

"Okay, here's a map and I presume you have your schedule with you right?" The lady behind the desk told me.

"Yes Miss."

"Well you should head to class. The bell's about to ring and you don't want to be late."

"Alright, thanks for the help." I thanked her and walked to my first class.
